It's a bacterial blend all right. Seems to be much nicer than other ones I've used in terms of total species included and shelf life. Used when helping recover filtration on new larger tank after medication. Mostly killed off my decade old cycle :( . Never got to nitrite showing levels of die off but this helped in recovery for sure. Shouldn't need to regularly add more like they mention, especially if the cycle is established. The instructions are definitely wack. Otherwise solid blend, nitrates are rising at expected levels and waste and detritus is being broken down almost at original efficiency. I'm sure having a backup cycle did some of the lifting though lol. This will be my future go to recommendation to friends when starting a new tank.

Excellent additive when your tank is going thru the uglies. Helps keep the bed build up the bacteria engine up & running. And now I add just one capful a week.

I’ve had great success with Brightwell products so far and decided to try this to help with my battle against nitrates and phosphates. Using every professional trick in the book and I see this helping slowly to make minor differences. My water clarity was already good so I can’t see a difference there. Hopefully by the time I’m done with the full bottle I’ll be in a good place with my NO3 & PO4!

Great product! I still haven't figured out why it happened as I have been doing the same routine on my freshwater aquarium for the past 8 years. I woke up one morning and my tank was so cloudy I could barely see my plants in the background. Tried multiple water changes, cleaned and replaced canister filters, tried a couple of other water "clarifier solutions" but 3 weeks later, still cloudy. Started using this stuff and 3 days later, voila! Beautiful, clear water. I'm now a frequent buyer.

Amazing product, a must have for any reefer/aquarist. Works for small issues and really helps to keep the tanks bacterial bio diversity healthy and productive.
