Q: Would this work with a baofeng bf-f8hp? what ould i need to connect the 2 of them?

You will need at least three pieces of hardware to accomplish this task. First, you will need an SMA Female-to-BNC Female adapter to get from the radio's antenna port to a reasonably workable size connector. As far as I know, there is no adapter that can go directly from SMA to SO-239. Next you will need a length of adapter cable with a Male BNC-to-Female SO-239 connector. Finally, you will need whatever length of coaxial cable (with PL-259 Male connectors on each end) that may be required to bring the signal to your J-Pole antenna. I would recommend not more than 50 feet, especially if you expect to put out a good signal on the 440 MHz band. I obtained all the above hardware on AMAZON, from various resellers. The SMA-to-BNC adapter is from DHT, P/N AD075. The BNC-to-SO-239 cable assembly is P/N MPD DIGITAL UHF/VHF Coaxial Cable from vendor Times Microwave. The feedline coax cable with PL-259 Male connectors is something I already had on-hand, but it is widely available from many HAM Radio equipment dealers. DX Engineering is a good source; they will make up custom cable/connector assemblies per your exact requirements. The small SMA connector at the radio body is the "weakest link" mechanically speaking in this chain of hardware, so use care when handling the radio with all the connectors and cables attached. Q: can this be used as a base station, also, i would have to hid it due to HOA. Is by a window or attic ok?

I use this antenna as a base station antenna secured in my attic and it performs really well. A word of caution -- you should perform RF exposure calcs if you're transmitting with more than 10 watts. In my case, because of where I positioned my antenna, I can transmit at 20 watts without issue but I want to use the full 50 watts my rig can produce, my kitchen needs to be unoccupied.

Q: will this pick up air planes frequencys?

It will hear airband frequencies but not as effeciently as one that is designed for airband. Unless you need a dual band amateur radio antenba, it would be overkill for just airband reception.
