Works great!
I had fairly white teeth before trying this but I am looking for bright white. So far I've used a little over 1 syringe approximately 6 hours in 3 applications each to both top and bottom. My teeth are absolutely noticeably whiter but not quite bright white, yet. I am almost certain I will be able to achieve the white I am looking for with this stuff though. It works great and is less spotty than strips. I bought 3 moldable trays on amazon for $3 and they work great with this. $33 for opal + $3 trays, If I were to guess I think this will get a lot more use and whitening for the price vs strips. I certainly like this better than strips as well, the only downside vs strips is you can't really go out in public with a whitening tray in your mouth (also unpleasant with strips but with the clear ones you can manage), however I find the tray to be more comfortable than strips, they move around on your teeth, the trays stay put and little to none of it gets in your mouth. With strips I find I'm constantly moving them and touching them with my tongue. So far I've did my top 1 hr for the first application, 2 hr the next and then 3 hrs at night, all in the same day. My teeth gums were super sensitive the following day so I did the bottom the same way that day. Both top and bottom are whiter. This stuff does burn (just like strips) if it gets on your gums, The spot between my two front upper teeth got burned pretty severely the 3rd time I applied (I used more than previous applications). I stuck it out and the burn wore off after 2 or 3 minutes, but it was a pretty intense 2-3 minutes, and 3 days later that little area is still sensitive to touch. I'd certainly recommend these to anyone wishing to whiten their teeth. Great price and works great.

Yes, you can find an expiration date!
Hi, thanks to somebody who posted a week ago, we can all solve the mystery of the expiration date of these teeth whitening syringes. Please see his review and rate him helpful as truly his information is invaluable (dated ~ July 30, 2013). For those of you not wanting to scroll back, each syringe is incised with a batch number which is a letter followed by three digits. The three digits are MM/Y where MM is the month of expiration and Y = 201Y = the year of expiration. I just received my eight syringes and they were all marked O065 which means the expiration date is in June 2015. That's almost two years off. I have used this tooth whitening system before, provided by my dentist who charged MANY times what you can pay for them on amazon. Just like pet meds, we should all remember that you CAN shop around, even for prescription items (which these gels are not). Generally, the dentist or the veterinarian will be the MOST expensive place to find supplies and meds. So, I know these work. My dentist made custom trays for me years ago. I put the teensiest bit in each tooth's well - put it in the FRONT of the well, who cares if the back of your teeth are white, no one sees the backs! Put it in the bottom of each tooth's well, as when you squish the tray against your teeth it'll tend to squish out toward the edge of your tooth. Obviously, you want to use enough that the full outer surface of the tooth comes in contact with the gel, but not so much that it squishes all over your gums. I wore these overnight and found that my teeth were a little sensitive in the morning but it soon wore off. These things really DO whiten your teeth! My teeth tend to be slightly yellow, and that is the type of discoloration that responds best to whitening gels. I had to have a piece made for a front tooth that I chipped when I was six, so my dentist had me whiten my teeth before having the piece matched - he had to use the whitest shade of porcelain to match my teeth after I whitened them. So yeah, this stuff works. And at least in my case, the sensitivity was temporary. I'm giving this product 5 stars because I know from past use that it works, the batch I received has two years before it expires, and it's hella cheap compared to the outrageous price my dentist charged me!

Works great, nice minty flavor, fast whitening for a good price WAY cheaper than at the Dentist!
I've been using these for years and every time they produce great results! My teeth always look whiter right after and it lasts for a few weeks until I use them again. The syringes are very easy to use, just keep in mind you will need whitening trays from your dentist or a shaped mouthpiece for the top and bottom to use with these. Just press down on the syringe and move around the mouthpiece until the teeth whitening gel fills in the spaces, then wear for 2-4 hours / follow the instructions. These are WAY cheaper than getting your teeth whitened at the dentist and are the most affordable option I could find after doing some research. If you have sensitive teeth or gums this may burn a little, so be careful and do not leave it on too long. My only complaint is the way the syringes are designed makes it impossible to use all of the product every time. A bunch gets stuck in thin part when you make it to the end and it's really difficult to get out. Feel like a waste. But overall I LOVE this product and will continue buying it!

Does what it's supposed to
My teeth were borderline pee-yellow and now they are a much nicer shade of well...pee. I feel like my teeth will never be as white as I'd like but it definitely made a noticeable improvement in a short amount of time. I purchased two cheap football mouthguards from walmart, set them to my upper and lower teeth and decided to give this stuff a try. My dentist told me to put a drop in each tooth of the mouth guard but that really didn't work for me because it came out in a string. I also read online that you should use about 1/3 of a tube for upper and 1/3 for lower. I used more than I was supposed to (which I assume is fine) but my teeth squished too much of it onto my gums and it felt like I had scarfed down a frozen pizza too quickly after getting home from the bar for a couple of days. I also learned that you don't have to worry about caking all your teeth in this stuff because it works by going through your teeth so basically as long as it's touching the tooth period, it'll work, as I was very paranoid about uneven whitening. If you want to give this a try, go ahead, just be wary of how much you put on the mouthguards. I left mine in for about 2.5 hours for a few nights in a row and my teeth were more sensitive but I always did it right before bed. As long as you are careful and use the product with caution, it does the job, but it is a powerful chemical so don't mess around.

Same as my dentist wanted $350 for
I bought multiple tray from Amazon along with this right now. I’m definitely impressed with how the product works and how easy it is with a good mouthguard. I recommend using a make up brush to apply to your teeth, and make sure you brush and floss before hand so that the in between teeth whitens as well. I’ve been using for a couple hours a night for 2 1/2 weeks and I definitely see a difference. I plan on using for another 2 1/2 weeks to achieve the color I’d like. Sometimes my teeth get sensitive so I take a day break, but no more than that. The 20% works for me, I don’t think 35% would because of how sensitive they can make you. I’ve been using for a couple hours a night for 2 1/2 weeks and I definitely see a difference. I plan on using for another 2 1/2 weeks to achieve the color I’d like. Sometimes my teeth get sensitive so I take a day break. It takes time to remove long time stains but definitely works. Side note - after using your teeth with look bleachy and blotchy. Do not freak. This fades after half a day and they even out more. I previously tried to lighten and got freaked out by the blotches and stopped. Now I realize that it’s just part of the process!

Actually works! Must try this
My recent 10-hour overnight treatment gave amazing results, removing most of the yellow & brown tooth stains that had built up during the 2 years that I haven't been to the dentist. Looking forward to extremely white teeth again after using this for a few weeks. I am not comfortable with fluoride in any of the products that I use, but would buy this again anyway, because it really does work. This is the same exact item that I paid $20 per syringe at my dentist office in the past. If you are trying Opalescence for the first time, I recommend starting with a couple tubes of the lowest percentage strength before trying the 20% strength. 20% does leave my gums extremely sensitive to hot & cold, and makes my gums bleed when brushing, for a day after an overnight treatment. I also tried the 35% strength but could not even leave it in my mouth for more than 45 minutes because it burned and hurt so bad, and my mouth hurt for days after, so it was not a good buy for me.

Whitener for Teeth
This product is great and cost so much less than what you pay if you get it from your dentist. You will need to have a mold of your teeth. I had this from my former dentist who was selling it the gel for twice the price (unknown to me), but then we moved, and my new dentist (now former) was charging more than 3 times the price. The dentist assistant said I probably wasn't using the same product, but when I brought my Opalescence in, it was exactly the same as they were selling which they admitted. This product is so easy to use and you only need to have on your teeth for 1 hour. The first time I used it, I used all 4 sticks to get to the whiteness I needed. Now every one or months, I use one stick and it keeps my teeth white. One stick has enough product to use one to three applications--only a small amount is needed each application; like a dot of the product for each tooth.

Better packaging
Opalessence tooth whitening gel is suppose to be kept at a cool temperature and avoid hot temperatures which could cause the gel to be ineffective (manufacturers instructions). Today I received my gel in a plain yellow envelope padded with a thin layer of air bubbles and no cool pack or anything to keep the gel from getting warm or too hot. Very Disappointed because when I received the gel, it was hot. I'll give it a try tonight but if the heat causes the gel not to whiten my teeth properly I'll have to get my money back. I'm sure the product is great, but it's just the way that it's packaged. Manufacturers instructions are to simply keep the gel cool and avoid hot temperatures, but as stated earlier, there's no cold pack or anything accompanying the gel to fulfill the manufacturers instructions.

Pas sûr que ce soit des vrais
J’ai essayé toute une nuit et le lendemain mes dents était identiques … vraiment pas sûr que c’était des vrais car j’avais eu la vrai version chez le dentiste c’était pas du tout le même résultat
