After a lot of hair loss post hypothyroid crisis I decided to have weight loss surgery/sleeve. The combo of both led to severe hair loss with almost all of my bangs lost and a bald spot on the back of my head. Over the course of the first 5-6 months of my hair falling out, I tried the soap bars, paraffin free shampoo, Nioxin, minoxidil , and parador. Nothing worked. I was getting 2 handfuls of hair with every washing. Then I gave one more try and bought Karanique. Within the first 2 weeks I noticed the fall out slowing. Granted it took another 5-6 months to get the full thickness back, but it came back. I did cut it from waiste length to ear length when it was falling out and have kept it short (I love having wavy short hair now. It was bone straight when it was long). I still use this.

This shampoo set nails it ! Perfect for cleansing and conditioner for the ends ...I use a micro fiber towel to gently dry hair then use a quality leave in conditioner ie Pureology , then air dry and or blow dry... next is a flat iron at 340 degrees and only do one pass per section ... Oplex oil on ends and my hair looks salon done EVERY time ...I will never use any other shampoo /conditioner pairing , and I've used both the volumizing and damage control ( I have colored hair ) and both are great ! I like the products but it’s too soon to tell if it actually dies anything. I have a receding hairline and that can’t be fixed but this shampoo and conditioner does make hair feel fuller.

A small amount goes a long way. I have hair down past my bottom and it only takes a quarter size of shampoo to lather up and clean all my hair, unlike other shampoos where it’s a couple of handfuls of shampoo to half a bottle to lather up. My hair is shiny smooth and clean afterwards. I no longer use a half bottle or more to condition my hair either it’s amazing when you get away from the cheap knock offs. For those who say it dries out their hair try using less maybe a pea size would work better.

I like the shampoo well enough-nice fragrance and hair texture after use. But I've also started some non-drug pills and minoxidil drops so it would be hard to gage it's effect on any hair growth. And as one who tries not to use the word 'hate', I cannot tell you how much I HATE the containers. It's SO hard to squeeze out the product, even with standing it up on the lid end and letting air in in-between use. Bottles are over half empty now and I need to use both hands when squeezing so I have to remove the lids to pour some out. I'll look for a similar shampoo product when it's gone.

I've tried two other hair thinning help products. One really found a way to hurt my eyes, no matter what. Second one came in glass and I didn't want glass in tub or shower. This seems to be working, slowly. I'm 70 and dealing with old age and hereditary but it's working. I also bought their other product to apply after washing.

I don’t know how well it works yet bc I just started using it but it smells EXACTLY likeBiolage shampoo and conditioner. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think they’re using Biological shampoo/conditioner and adding the hair growth medication to it.Biolage smells really good so I’m definitely not complaining.The shampoo feels like it might be a clarifying shampoo and the conditioner makes my hair pretty soft.

Too early to verify if this works. Due to illness I lost 2/3’s of my hair and it’s now starting to grow back. My hairdresser strongly recommended this product. To my surprise, it does smell good.
