Not worth the money
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately it doesn't work as advised. It is not cleaning as it should, it keeps bumping everywhere and it is already scratched all around. Doesn't avoid obstacles as I found it bumping into my pet’s water bowl making a mess all around. Sadly, I will have to try a new brand

I'm Obsessed!
I love my Roombie its little arms bringing the mop down is so cute, it cleans really well both vacuuming and mopping and it's so refreshing to come back to a fresh clean home after a hard days work. I always set it to run around about an hour before I get home to enjoy a waft of freshness as I step through the door. Defo recommend getting one! It's lifechanging :)

Fancy with a few negatives
Overall it does a good job of vacuuming your house, by itself. It creates good maps to navigate, and therefore can accurately do what you ask. It can both mop and vacuum, and takes itself back to base when it needs to empty, which is often so very useful, and even to charge if a massive job.Like all autonomous devices, there is maintenance you need to do, refilling the mop liquid is not a chore and is about as frequent as you should be checking under the device anyway. It can get blocked, hair will wrap itself around the rollers and the small corner brush, and sometimes there is just a problem that affects the quality of the job it does. FYI a sign it is blocked is it emptying the bin very frequently, as each time is not working and it senses the bin is still full.It is quite expensive, it is worth getting the base station that can empty as the internal bin is tiny, however overall it may be out of people's budgets. You can let it vacuum when you are at home, it is a little noisy as any vacuum cleaner is however, especially when it empties! However this is needed to do this properly.

Mopping problem
We have put our machine on for the first time. Vacuums well but the mop isn’t working. Other than filling up the tank and instructing it to vacuum and mop is there anything we haven’t done to get it working?

Too complicated - sent it back
Whilst I'm sure this Roomba is a good product and works well- I just didn't get that far. Unboxed it and struggled to get it sit on its base -then it didn't seem to turn on anywhere. Trying to connect it to the app was impossible. After two hours struggling with the thing I gave up in frustration and reboxed it to to send it back.I couldn't imagine the trauma of trying to get the thing actually set up and mopping and emptying itself etc when I couldn't even find the on switch ! Anyway - might just be me neither g stupid but I'm looking for a more simple model

Camera-based Navigation very poor - returned after 3 days
After my Neato started to give-up after 3 years of service (and their cloud services starting to stop working) I was in the market for an upgraded Robot Vacuum. I liked the look of the iRobot and the app looked very well built and sophisticated, sadly when it comes to the actual product the hardware let it down. Coming from a LIDAR-based Neato I noticed how poorly the iRobot navigated my relatively small townhouse, the ability to lift the robot up over thresholds was also absent - with the front sweeper brush breaking away after just 1-2 days of use. The camera-based system resulted in a lot of 'bumping around' to find it's way and the navigation reminded me of the first robot vacuum I bought 4 years ago which relied on Infra-red and bumpers to navigate it's way round. After just 3 days I decided that this wasn't for me, the cost (double that of the next well-known competitor) was simply not worth it. The lack of a laser-navigation has really hampered this product, the actuated mop pad was such a USP, but sadly didn't compensate for the poor navigation due to it's camera-based navigation system.

Below average. Doesn't work often
Okay, suction is fine, but I still need to regularly manually hoover to get up extra bits and do the corners that it can't reach.Generally good for keeping the floor looking not in a too bad state.Cons: often gets stuck or lost. If unplugged it runs out of charge quickly so has to be powered all the time, which might be very wasteful/expensive (need to check), if unplugged can take an hour charging to get enough power to start. I think you need a fairly large space that's mostly clear for this to be worth it.. and I can't imagine many households of the average person having that.. suppose it's a luxury item/tech extravagance so can't complain too much about the latter.Problems seem endless with it. Just needs so much faff time to get working, it's not worth the effort or expense for the benefit in my opinion
