Was very happy with this wire. Durable, easy to work with. It does tarnish a bit but it is bare copper, love it anyway. :)

Great wire at a great price! Although it says it is 16oz/1lb it is 14oz, including the plastic reel. But, hey, I didn't even have to pay for shipping with Prime.

This wire was labeled as "soft copper" so I was a bit concerned when ordering. I use it internally in my lead (really soft) and the stained glass windows that have a zinc border (stiffer, but soldered corners). The stained glass windows which I make are relatively heavy and I certainly don't want to risk having them break free of the hangers and crash into a million pieces of sharp glass and a million more tears!This wire was soft enough to bend how I wanted it (to form corners) but strong enough to fully land securely hang my glass creations without always making an Oak frame. JUST RIGHT, I will be ordering more!

Great purchase would buy again. Used for making jewelry by hand. Probably the heaviest gauge i can manipulate by hand. Nice an soft great quality easy to use very clean. Great value for the price

Just for the heck of it, I weighed the spool and it weighed out at 15.5 ounces. That weight includes the plastic reel. The box does not state the weight or length but the description on Amazon states that it is 1lb / 127 ft. Something to keep in mind.
