Just what we needed!

It’s amazing!!! Directions were a little unclear and had us building it upside down so we ended up having to flip it over lol! But everything came with 1 extra part which I loved! It feels unsturdy while building but once built it’s perfect! It was also easy to move!

It should do well in my kitchen

This replaced a cheap flat pack pantry I got at a big box store in the '90s. It looks much, much better in the space, at a price that didn't bankrupt me. I had been looking to replace that thing for years, and I never saw anything at any brick and mortar stores that suggested itself as a suitable alternative. I finally broke down and ordered something online. The pantry arrived with all the pieces intact. I was worried about breakage. Every piece had some filmy pad anti-scratch stuff between layers, and foam was packed into every bit of dead space inside the box. It survived potentially rough handling with no issues. All the pieces were labeled with small white stickers, the hardware was labeled, and I ended up with one extra of most of the hardware after everything was assembled. The cam-lock hardware included in this kit was not exactly of the highest quality available, but it got the job done.I used to assemble flat pack furniture professionally, so I might have had an advantage over the average buyer. Assembly took me on the order of two hours. I had to take a few breaks to entertain my Great Danes, but 120 minutes seems about right for the time I actually spent on the assembly. If I hadn't had the experience of assembling items of this nature for a living, it might have taken up to six hours. These weren't the worst instructions I ever encountered, but neither were they the best. They were minimalist, but accurate. The only question that wasn't resolved by looking at the pictures was which set of holes to use when mounting the drawer glides. The holes lined up such that they could have fit in two different positions. I guessed accurately on the first try, and that was not an issue. The back panel on pieces like this is the only thing that gives them any rigidity. Getting it installed correctly is of critical importance. As back panels go, this one was much better than average. It was attached with screws, rather than nails, and all the holes were placed accurately. When I got to the last holes on the bottom panel, my first impression was that there was one set of holes that had been drilled incorrectly. After installing the top panel, I realized the holes were drilled so precisely that each panel had a matching half hole right at the seam. Nice touch!Drawers on furniture like this are never made very well. This example was completely typical of the breed, and there were no surprises here. I assembled the drawer using quality wood glue all the way around the groove for the bottom panel, and in all four corners. The glue should help the drawer hold up better, although it will never be able to take much weight without failing. It's the nature of the beast. I think the drawer will probably do just fine for holding packages of microwave popcorn or the like, but if I put anything heavy in there, it will bow out the bottom, and eventually blow out. All furniture of this type is like that. It is what it is.After getting the unit assembled, moved into position, and put into service, the most immediate problem I noticed was that the black finish scratches very easily. I poked a couple of plastic cereal containers into the thing, and they apparently had some minor grit on the bottom. I instantly scratched the shelf, to a point where it would take some creativity to make the scratch less visible. That was disappointing. All in all, the unit does feel especially flimsy, even by the standards of cheap flat pack furniture. I'm not sure how this unit is going to stand up to holding heavy items over time. The other major opportunity for improvement is in the way the adjustable shelves are set up. On the lower shelf, I have three holes, the highest of which is well below the height of the bottles I intend to store there. I had no practical choice but to omit the lower adjustable shelf entirely, and consequently, I have some dead space in here that I can't use for anything. If I ever really need that space, then I will have to rig something up to add adjustment holes for the lower shelf. Given the materials I have to work with here, I would not expect that to go especially well, and I hope to avoid the issue by just omitting that shelf and living my life. All in all, I'm quite happy with the purchase. It's an attractive piece that should hold up for years, so long as I recognize and accommodate is inherent limitations.

Beautiful!

I am a 56-year-old woman and I put this together myself in a couple of hours. It was a bit of work but I've dealt with worse. The drawer glides very smoothly. I love the color, which was my main reason for purchase, aside from needing to reorganize my tiny bathroom.I would recommend!

Great quality and sturdy

This pantry cabinet is the perfect size for my small home. The instructions have clear pictures, easy to follow directions. It took me all day to put it together though! Only because it takes me a long time to do anything anymore. Very sturdy, a great value. It comes with the correct hardware and a few spares.

Beautiful

When I first got the box, the shipping box itself was pretty damaged because it is so massive and bulky. But I was pleasantly surprised that everything inside was packaged extremely well so each piece survived. Absolutely everything was wrapped up and there was Styrofoam protecting everything. The directions and sheer amount of pieces was very intimidating. I'm not going to lie... It took me several hours to put together. But as I got going, I realized there's enough information included to put it together correctly the first time. It was not nearly as difficult as I expected at first glance. As long as I took my time, it all went together well. And it's very obvious that the pieces are well made. Everything went together exactly as explained, the pilot holes were perfectly drilled, everything fit beautifully, every screw and piece was accounted for, and it feels sturdy and well made. You can tell extra attention was given to each detail, which I very much appreciate. And the results are STUNNING! It fits so many things inside, it's easy to adjust shelves to accommodate my items, the drawer slides out smoothly, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm very proud of the end result, and it was worth every penny and ounce of effort putting it together.

They are OK, but there is some stuff you should know

First, I pretty much knew not to expect fine furniture, but I have to say that I was surprised at just how cheap you could make something. The doors are half inch thick at their frame so you can guess how thin the inserts are. The shelves are also made of 1/2" MDF.That said I made some upgrades. I am uploading a picture. We got some inexpensive vinyl tile and covered all the shelves and the center unit in the picture was build by me so I flanked it with two of these units. The pulls and handles reached an all time low in quality. I mean you can get some decent knobs for not a lot of money so I was really kind of taken aback at just how thin the metal was and small they were.I got some new pulls off of Amazon from Franklin Brass. It is important to do your homework as the holes drilled in the cabinets are most defiantly standard width. I think they were 2.75 on center on the drawers and the Franklin handles were adjustable (which I didn't know existed) so I was able to adjust them for these cabinets and use the standard 3" spread for the draw unit.Last thing I did was bring a door to the paint store to match the brand of white and painted the drawer unit to match and get a couple of outlet units.Would I do it again? Nope! They are functional and from 10' they look good, but I am pretty sure they will be hitting the trash bins within the next couple of years. So as long as you don't expect too much, you won't be too dissapointed.
