Grateful I no longer have time to take a nap waiting for the window to cycle up. I am going to say that the build quality is better than OEM. Purchased for the passenger side of my 2000 Chevy Silverado LT. The biggest pain in the arse was removing the door panel to access the unit. Once it was removed, installation took less than 10 mins. Removed the old regulator (Tape the window in the up position before removal!), and the replacement was installed in exact reverse order, no alterations needed. Speed of lowering and raising the window is pretty much cut in half. As any Silverado owner can tell you, these windows have gotten sloooow over the years. I am impressed with the speed and could swear it is faster and quieter than the OEM was new. I was just going to wait until the driver's side finally gave up the ghost but am now going to go ahead and replace it based on the result of this purchase. Great value for the money, absolutely no complaints.

my passengers window had gotten to the point that it almost would not roll up when all the way down. This was fairly easy to replace and the price was very good. Time will tell how long it lasts but right now it works good.

This looked similar to the OEM unit that failed in my 2003 Chevy Suburban....but so did the other one I installed from another manufacturer, and it failed after 1.5 years of very light use. Still....I’m hopeful.For the record I have a buddy who paid double for ACD.....and it failed after a little over a year too, which he uses his truck a lot more than I do...but, still. Both of our OEM lasted approx 150,000 Miles. Or replacement units lasted me about 6,000 miles and his about 15,000 miles. That’s 10% of the time the original lasted.Point is: I deal with lots of parts. I’m not convinced ACD (or any other brand) has just one source for parts. I ordered 3 MOOG ball joints.... 3 of the 4 were very different in build quality, but all three measured and fit exactly the same.My opinion: consistently good quality parts by brand name are a thing of the past. I paid for quality with MOOG, but did not receive the same quality.....all the same part #, same parts house, same packaging....but far from identical to each other.Honestly, I’ve only replaced TWO regulators. I just have no confidence ACD will be any better quality than these. And these are half the price. But but but...if I had confidence in ACD it’s only $70, I’d have bought them.It’s a simple job once you get passed the fear of breaking plastic interior pieces! Just take your time and ease trim pieces off. It’s a simple, 30 minute job that saves you hundreds in shop labor by doing it yourself.Thanks for reading my review.I’m satisfied with this part right now. Hope it holds up.
