Easy Assembly
I had several questions regarding the doghouse and its shipment. The seller responded quickly and answered all of my questions. The doghouse arrived sooner than expected. It has been raining quite a bit in my area. My dog loves being outside, prancing around in the mud. When he gets mud in the doghouse, it is easy to clean. Just rinse with a hose and let it dry. It was easy to assemble - one person, less than 15 minutes. All tools are included. However, I used my cordless drill to speed up assembly. I ordered the 42" house. There is much room for my 50-pound "puppy" to grow.

Big house for big dog
This is quite a large house! My neighbor's dog I look after he loves it. He doesn't even lay or sleep in his other one. It's shaped like an igloo, definitely to small for him. His owners do no care for him so I have taken him under my wing.

Huge
This house was ridiculously easy to assemble. I don't know why anyone would have an issue. I'm a 59 year old woman whose been home sick for a week and still feel horrible, but I just did it by myself in less than 30 minutes and that included hunting through the house for my drill. Fully assembled, it it very sturdy. I just lifted it over my 36 inch dog gate and dropped it to the other side before rolling it out the door, and it's perfectly fine. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that there is no way the thin, plastic walls will keep my tortoise warm. I'm going to need to wrap it in a quilt and tarp in addition to hanging a heat lamp (once I make sure it's flameproof plastic). The directions to build this thing are very, very clear. Just make sure you snap everything together and then use the screws. I wouldn't even try doing it with a screwdriver. You need a drill. I do love that the base is raised and it comes with multiple feet to keep the middle from sagging. That was a nice touch. I bought two of these. Not sure if I'll keep the other. It depends on how well I get this first one to stay warm.

Rain shelter
Purchased for my Great Pyrenees Pit mix. He is 100lbs. He loves being outside and I always worried about when we were gone from the house that it would rain.. he never goes in the house, unless it rains. So it works!

Craptastic Flimsy POS! Save your $$$
For the $100 I paid, I expected better. This is worth about $25 at the very most! You are supplied with 6 walls of plastic that you have to assemble to create the roof, sides, front and back. The roof is assembled by attaching a long piece of plastic to the two roof pieces of plastic to create the triangle roof. Then, you have to slide the walls into the underside of the roof. After that, you slide the front and back sections into the walls. Finally, you snap in the bottom piece (the floor). Once completed you secure all the pieces by screwing them all together. Sounds easy, right? It's not! It's not easy because the plastic sections are all pretty flimsy and don't line up properly; the reason they don't line up properly is because the pieces are not hard, sturdy plastic; they are flimsy pieces that warped in transit. So, you are working with bent pieces of cheap material trying to cram them into the proper sections. The screws are coated with some sort of crappy black powder that rubs off onto your hands (or gloves) when you're screwing the pieces into place. This dog house is an absolute joke! I was an idiot and didn't assemble the thing until after my return window, so I made the best of it. However, I seriously doubt it's going to withstand the weather! DO NOT BUY THIS! Save the $100 and put it towards a top-quality dog house such as the Igloo brand -- I bought an Igloo dog house 35 yrs ago, and it's still going strong despite being a little beat up on the underside that rests on the concrete -- granted, Igloos are expensive, but compared to this POS, an Igloo is well worth the extra $. The one plus side is that everything you need to assemble this dog house is included: all pieces, all screws, a screwdriver, a pair of gloves, and the plastic things that you pop onto the bottom of the underside to stabilize it as well as a couple of stakes to secure the sides into the ground -- so 1 star for that. Overall, it seemed like a great idea but turned out to be a great disappointment!

Not my favorite
Its alright. It certainly won't do much to keep them warm in the winter but that's not really what I needed it for. Assembly was irritating but not necessarily difficult.
