These treats are the only way I can get my 30yr old Miniature mare with Cushing's to take her medicine. She turns her nose up to any other treat - even actual apples! Thankfully she loves these. I just drill a little hole in one and stick the 1/4 tablet in it and she takes it easily. I always follow up with a few more treats. Sometimes they can be a little crumbly which makes it difficult to drill a hole into without them crumbling apart but it also makes it easier for her to eat them since her teeth aren't great. She eats a handful of these every night, plus my younger mini gelding and two Nigerian Dwarf goats get some too, so we go through even the 4lb bag pretty quickly. For some reason I can no longer find these in the farm stores near me so Amazon is the only option but it is nice getting them delivered instead of having to drive around searching for them.

Though this was simple, He really appreciated the gift and said the horses loves these things and was gracious. Going on the review for whom I bought it for and I have no knowledge on how to treat horses lol. this would be good. So I would say someone who has horses loves them, then your good to go! My horse is a picky eater and he loves these apple treats!! It's a big bag and should last a while and fast delivery. Happy with my purchase will buy again.

Great product but Amazon sucks

I am going to say that the Flavor and all is good as these are for the Horse and not me.

I recently got a job at a barn and bought these for the horses, I didn't think they would like them as much as they do. When I muck stalls they follow me all over their pen and chew on my clothes trying to get these treats, they go absolutely crazy for them, I give them to the donkeys as well and they also love them. I thought they were going to be bigger but they are about the size of half of my thumb, so they are fantastic for training. Definitely recommend!
