This chair was very easy and quick to assemble following the instructions provided with it.When I pulled the parts out of the box I was not confident that it would be comfortable due to the rim around the back not been padded, however, sitting on it is very comfortable and the back is shaped for optimal comfort. The seat is very well cushioned too.I must say I'm a little baffled about the foot rest comments (I almost ended up not purchashing this chair because of them.) The foot rest is adjustable and you can move it up and down to suit the height of the chair. My only guess about the source of these comments is that when the chair is at its lowest position the footrest (which goes as low down as the top of the base) isn't as comfortable to use... but if you have longer legs you can just put your feet on the floor as you would do with any normal chair :D I am 5.6ft ish (5. 5ft T-T) and the foot rest is still fairly comfortable to use when the chair is all the way down.Overall I am very satisfied with this chair. I cannot fault it and compared to other chairs on the market, especially chairs with armrests (which bump the price up quite a bit in regards to other chairs like this one... a tad suss considering its as simple as adding a few extra holes to the base of the seat) this chair is an absolute bargain. Just Wow!I will update my review if view changes in the coming weeks. But for now im completely happy with it.

Really easy to put together, boxed well, instructions easy to read. Comfortable and looks good. A definite must have if looking to buy inexpensive office chairs. I bought 2 and would do again if I needed more. Quality is to high standard. Easy to adjust has a arm at base. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a good sturdy chair with plenty of height adjustment, ideal for working with a large computer monitor/screen. It was very easy to fit together from the box and took between 30 and 45 minutes. The material is comfortable. I would like to give it 5 stars but will it stand the test of time? Will the material wear out quickly? I have had other computer chairs with the imitation leather and the material starts to wear out after a couple of years.

I bought a drafting chair so I could sit at my desk at the lowest position and not have to worry about going down in the world when the hydraulic seals start to failat the discount price, real value for money; easy to put together and comfortableI can tuck my feet under the seat and rest my toes on the floor, which is my preference when sitting forwards, although that will depend on the length of your legs of courseI miss the head rest my previous chair had, but that is not a negative for this onereally pleased, would buy again for sure

After working from home and using dining room chairs I was in need of an alternative. I suffer with degenerative disc diseas and suffer pain daily. This chair has eased this and allowed me to carry on working at a desk for an 8 hour day. The fact that it can be heightened to stool height and lowered to table height is perfect, it enables me to stand and lean aswell as sit. It is of good quality which I wasn't expecting for the price. Alternative chairs were in the region of £500 plus.Great value for money and would highly recommend if you are wanting a cheaper alternative for lumbar support.

Delivered speedily as usual, well packaged, lots of bits but easy to assemble. So it looks OK. But is it comfortable in use? Well, the instructions say to place the chair on a mat if on a hard floor. As there are no braked castors, failure to do this may mean a nasty fall. I know - it very nearly happened! Seat goes up quite high, so great for sitting at drawing board. But footrest doesn't go low enough, meaning your knees are too high. Backrest is non-adjustable, so possibly won't support you properly. And armrests cannot be removed without unbolting - there's no hand adjustment. So value for money but not ergonomically the best.

I bought this for working from home as my husband built me a desk that was rather tall and my usual chair had my chin at keyboard height. This chair has sloved that problem. Ive added a cushion - not that it needed it but because Im a creature of comfort and like to be cosy when I work. The mesh back of the chair is strong - the cat has had a scratch at it a few times and not left any damage however I usually hang my shawl over the back of it to deter him.Its a sturdy chair and worth the money. I put it together myself in about 5 mins and its still in one piece

The recent lockdown meant I have been working from home on an ongoing basis. I am utilising a tall desk-cum-workbench and using a bar stool as my seat. This was fine for occasion home working but I decided that I wanted something a bit better for an extended period.This chair was fine to assemble - as another reviewer noted ensure you take the plastic cap off the hydraulic piston thing to install. Other than that quite straightforward.The chair has been comfortable in daily use and having castors on my chair has been very beneficial to me.One thing to be aware of is that I am quite tall (6 foot 2) with longish legs and the I could do with the foot rest being a bit lower down but it's fine for day to day use.I'm glad I got it as it's made working from home a better experience for me.
