LabgearUniversal Twin 2 Output LNB for SKY HD/Freesat HD TV KU Band Satellite Receiver with MK4 Bracket

I bought one of these because I hadn't realised that having returned a Sky Q box, the fitted LNB wouldn't work with the built in Freesat on the tv. The item was a straight swap replacement and was fitted within ten minutes. I set it up at the same angles as the Sky LNB and it worked perfectly immediately. Seems as good as any other unit I have seen and the instructions are clear and concise.

I used this to replace the LNB in my satellite dish after returning my Sky Q box, the LNB used with the Sky Q box is a wide band receiver and didn't work with my LG TV satellite tuner. It took 10 minutes to swap over, the instructions were clear and simple, it works really well.

Easy to fit like for like. Vast Signal and quality improvement over the previous Lnb. Best to add two cable ties to be sure of connection to the sat arm pre-empting future high winds, and remember to skew the device slightly (look up on youtube) if needed when fitting, although not needed to do so in this particular case as signal and quality were good. Worth the money if you can fit it yourself.

Watched a Youtube tutorial and fitted myself. Took about 10 minutes to fit. Works well. Tuned TV and picks up most Freesat channels. Though Sky Arts and Sky Mix missing. Would recommend.

Easy to install and works a treat with Humax box! Picture quality is better than it’s been for ages.

This is a classic universal fitting item i.e one size fits all one size fits nothing.I have an existing Sky satellite dish but the center cone has perished so I thought it would be a simple job to replace it with this LNB unit. Certainly looking at units being replaced on UTube it looked quite straight forward.Unfortunately the bracket provided did not fit the Sky dish arm. I tried using the existing Sky dish bracket but it was only 38mm as opposed to the 40mm LNB being supplied. Either way I was snookered and hence I decided to return the unit.I have now replaced the cone with a translucent curry powder container which was exactly the right size to slip over the centre unit, in order to protect the Sky dish sensor. I have noticed similar being shown on U Tube. I wait to see how long this will last. It's a pity because I thought I was onto a winner with this LNB unit. I did consider modifying the unit to fit my Sky dish but decided if it all went pear shaped I'd be £15 down.

I had an issue where I moved into my house, connected the satellite cables and saw it had recognised the Freesat channels but displayed no signal. Turns out the previous owner had Sky Q and a different LNB is required hence this buy. So easy to install, I was done installing this in less than 5 mins; taken longer to figure out if I was going to fit through the window to be able to swap this! If you are looking for an LNB for Freesat HD, look no further.
