Unrefined sunflower oil is my "GoTo" for popcorn and recipes that require a spray or drizzle of oil after cooking to enhance taste. Find your favorite unrefined and refined oils that suit your cooking needs.(Mine:)HIGH SMOKE POINT - Refined Avocado Oil - for stove top & oven cooking (marinades & rubs as well).LOW SMOKE POINT - Unrefined Sunflower Oil - after cooking finishing oil, dressings, etc.OTHER - Canola, Vegetable & EVOO - usually used as ingredient in baked goods, cakes, cookies, brownies, etc.!! Unrefined oils should not be used for stove top cooking due to their low smoke points.There are many list online that reference smoke points. Refined Avocado oil has one of the highest smoke points.Enjoy!🙂

I got the Chumak Sunflower Oil to use for skin as it is so loaded with good vitamins. It’s a light oil, clear as a bell, and very absorbent. It is also good for use in toilet sprays as it mists well and doesn’t clog up the spritzer. Of course, it is also excellent for cooking and for salad dressing. It has a very high smoke point (450-500F) and still smells faintly of sunflowers. Its feel is similar to olive oil (375-400F) but it’s a lot more forgiving. I think I will put some in a spritzer for the kitchen (sure don’t wanna confuse it with the toilet spray though 😝)! Will definitely buy again, and probably fairly soon 😄

It's slightly on the expensive side and not readily available in local stores, but I'm favorably impressed by it. I've been using olive oil almost exclusively, but it does tend to smoke as temps rise; this sunflower oil handles higher heat than the olive oil. Its flavor is unobtrusive, but sometimes faintly better than olive oil.

Rich and golden, this oil tastes just like the seeds. Not pale and tasteless like the sunflower seed oil at the grocery store.
