10 (8 oz.) New York Strip Steaks

Very pleased with the quality and service, so much so that I ordered a larger pack right away. They were the perfect thickness for cast iron preparation; Not too thick, not too thin. Great flavor. I had a slight issue with packing which the seller generously addressed right away. Great communication. I'm so pleased to find the qualify and ease of ordering!

This was an impulse buy. Popped up under one of my regular purchases. Read reviews, took the plunge. Came very quickly, in a day, still had a bunch of dry ice, and thawed one for supper. We usually share a steak, so, I fixed it with homemade roadhouse seasoning in a hot skillet with great olive oil and a pat of butter. 4 min. on side one, then 2 min. on side 2. Came out nicely crusted, rested for a few minutes, then served. After discussing which half each of us wanted, we made our selections. Turned out perfectly. Done to a nice medium. Served with fresh Caesar Salad with homemade Caesar Dressing and a big pot of herbed, buttered mashed potatoes. Tender, buttery texture, not thin, nice size, tasted exactly like an excellent New York Strip should. We will be getting these again. I needn't have worried about this purchase. Great in every way. Nice surprise.

Steak had good flavor. Had more fat than I anticipated. Not very good quality though. Was only about 1/2 thick after cooking though. Easily overcooked it and it was only on stove for 5 minutes total.

I didnt care for them cooked in the oven. But WOW marinated and broiled 4 min each side. PERFECT. ILL DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN

Ordered a 20 pack of steaks. Good packaging comes shipped to your home with ice packs in a small styrofoam cooler in a shipping box. Out of the 20 steaks there was 3 that smelled really bad after thawing, had to throw them out. The rest seemed to smell good and safe to eat. Maybe will order again but 3 steaks were spoiled so gotta think about it

While the steaks have a good flavor and are fairly tender, there is a good amount of gristle on the outside of the steaks that should be trimmed before selling. I lost about 9 to 10 oz. trimming 6 steaks. I ordered several boxes and sent them to coworkers and was disappointed in the quality. Highly doubt I would order again or recommend. I can get better steaks at a better price from my local grocery store.

Nice stakes for the money, some are better than others, been buying for long time.
