The instructions were really pretty good! They gave you plenty of hardware. There are a number of steps. Be prepared to spend a few hours putting it together if you are a novice furniture builder!I did not put the back on and I use it as an audio video cabinet. It holds the boxes and blu ray player and remotes and such. I have had a few complements on it already.

I was looking for a glass-door cabinet to house some hifi components. Although this one isn't necessarily designed for audio, it fits the bill very nicely and the measurements were near perfect for my needs.The door is way more attractive than your typical all-glass audio cabinet doors, and even with its ornamental design it allows line of sight for my remote control. My simple component setup only uses one shelf at the moment, so I am able to use the other adjustable shelves to accommodate CD and vinyl storage.I had no problems with the assembly process or the hardware quality. The small screws seem to hold the door just fine; another reviewer said they had trouble with this, but I'm wondering if they used the correct screws bc there are two types included.There are a few things that could make it a 5-star item. Wiring cutouts in the back panel near each shelf would be great, and a choice of left or right swing for the door would be even better. All in all, this is an attractive, sturdy and functional cabinet that I can recommend highly.

This cabinet is awesome. Especially for the price. I can’t address how do difficult it was to put together because I paid somebody to do it, but it took him about an hour. I almost didn’t buy it after reading the reviews about the smell it does have a small odor but the odor is shellac or paint and it’s dissipating very quickly. There are three shelves that can be put anywhere you want and it holds so very much. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

The overall assembly was ok but some of these screws are missing and many of them are challenging to get to go all the way in so that there are gaps. I tried to take the screws out and disassemble tonight after trying to fix it and most of these screws won’t come out. Super frustrated - I don’t know how I can even return this product! It’s looked great online but I dont know what to do with it now??

We bought this as a stand for a slot machine in a home bar room. It is perfect for that job. Height and size fit the need, and we store wine bottles in the cabinet.

We had been looking for a couple years for black cabinets for either side of our fireplace to hold things, and these glass cabinets fit great! They are modern and sleek! The only thing we wish is that we could have switched the door on one so they wouldn’t both be opening from one side, but that’s okay. That wasn’t a deal breaker to us!

This is a beautiful piece and very sturdy. All pieces were in great condition; no split wood but predrilled holes were too small or nonexistent. Thank goodness for a handy husband. He also had to drill the holes larger and deeper to attach the shelves to the supports. If you don’t want to lock the shelves in place this will not be a problem. The predrilled holes were like a straight pin prick. He also drilled pilot holes on the back. There were no predrilled holes there to attach the back on. As you can see from my picture I put the cling frosted window stuff on the glass. I’m planning to put my piano books in it. If I were putting things on display I’d have left it clear. If I decide to use it as a display cabinet the window cling will just peel off. NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT THAT SMELL!! As other reviewers have said it has a strong odor, so much that after sitting in our living room overnight we just sat it out in our garage to let the fumes dissipate. If it takes longer than a week for the smell to subside I’ll take off a star. Still pleased with my purchase. Update. We left the cabinet in the garage for three weeks and it still smells. Brought it in the house anyway and put a dish of baking soda in the cabinet on a shelf overnight. That seemed to help. Went ahead and loaded my music books in it.

The cabinet looks like the picture and is sturdy and perfect for what I needed
