UPDATE: The replacement one I ordered also had the older style hook. I decided to keep 1, it will be fine, just not as pictured. CAUTION: LOOK YOUR ITEM OVER CAREFULLY! I had not noticed the inside, zippered pocket had no zipper tab - the zipper was sewn shut at both ends! See photo - sorry, my old phone keeps flipping the pics over. Also loading photos comparing size to my old one. The soup can is just for scale, it was what I had handy. 😁 They both hold the same amount of stuff. This one is bigger looking when lying flat, but it isn't as thick. It does indeed hold full size lotion, hair spray, etc. Bonus: I figured out it stands up pretty well when opened, if I flip the "lid" to the back. No need to hang it all the time. It fits nicely into a small back pack I have that meets Allegiant personal item size requirements, with room left over for items like a tablet, cell phone, wallet, snacks, etc. Looking forward to using this! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Just arrived. Looks like a great bag - Love the purple, a little more if a heather purple which is great! Seams all look good, great pocket sizes, and overall I really like it. I think it could double as an airline "personal item" if needed. But - the HOOK IS NOT AS PICTURED. 😣 It is the older style non-swivel hook! I really wanted the swivel feature! Returning and reordering, hopefully the replacement will be better.

Update: this bag was great on my dive boat back in July. Well organized and easy to live out of for 8 days. I just used it again (I leave it full and just add or subtract when it’s time to travel.) I stuffed it full. Lived mostly out of it for a conference. It zipped up great. Very sturdy. And soooo very organized. I love it. How many hanging travel makeup/ toiletry/first aid bags have I tried over the years? Countless. This is perfect because it organizes my sections, enough to section off makeup from hair, from skin care, tooth care, first aid, and even my supplements. I can leave it hanging and use it in small air bnb bathrooms or on a liveaboard dive boat. I haven’t used it yet, but knowing all the years and different configurations I’ve tried with my existing bags, I can tell this will be great.

Absolutely love this bag. I’m a nomad and travel full time and I’ve been living out of this bag daily for 2.5 years. It looks exactly how it did the first day I got it. I stained it with makeup that wouldn’t rinse off with water, threw the whole thing in the washer and it came out spotless looking like new. My soap/shampoo/lotions have exploded from airplane pressure 4 different times and none of the liquids got outside the bag on my clothes. It holds full sized bottles which is what I needed since I live out of it and got sick of refilling smaller travel bottles. Hanging feature is awesome, even in hotels and airbnbs with no space I can find a spot to hang my toiletries! Works fine sitting on a counter if there is enough room too. After a year of watching me use it my boyfriend got one too. His has held up equally well. Zippers are fine, color hasn’t faded, bag hasn’t lost its shape. Literally looks and feels brand new!

This is great. It keeps its shape and fit enough toiletries for two adults (although with all my full sized hair products it was bursting at the seams so to speak so I got another one for my husband). The hook is sturdy and makes for reaching in and grabbing items super easy. We had a spill and was able to wipe it up and toss it in the machine semi closed (cold water no heat air dry) and it endured the cycle. Oily spills are difficult to get out regardless but doesn't stop us from repacking and using the bag again. I will note, if you were also purchasing the toiletry bag to match the compression bags, they do not. The compression bags are much darker and true to color.

So far so good! I'm already using my bag on my first trip, and it's been great. I love all the zippered compartments, and the roomy center area with the mesh divided sections. There is plenty of room for both travel-size and full-sized products. I moved everything over from my old travel bag and still have room to spare. It is a little smaller in dimensions than my old bag, yet it holds so much more. I like the way it hangs from the sturdy hook, or sits on the counter. My old bag had to hang or lay flat. This travel bag appears to be very sturdy and well made. I plan to get lots of use out of it for years to come.

This travel bag was exactly what I have been needing when I take trips. It fit everything and had enough space for full-size items. There were pockets for everything, was sturdy and didn't take up too much space in my luggage. It was so nice to have all of my toiletries in one place, and not have to worry about anything spilling. The expandable pockets were very useful. I used to have to carry several different bags for makeup and toiletries, and this was way more convenient. I would definitely recommend this item for traveling.

This traveling toiletry bag is perfect for getaways! It is very durable and sturdy. It has a variety of compartments. I was able to pack all of the toiletries that I needed and still had room for more! In my opinion, the hanger hook was great to have in the hotel bathroom. It allowed for easy access to all of my toiletries.

This product is well made and durable. I really like it. Quite roomy as others have stated. The one thing I don't like is that it sorta slopes from top to bottom - smaller at the top, larger at the bottom. It makes closing it a challenge when full. And the outside pockets are small and really only hold one item. Otherwise, it is working well for me. Not at all flimsy.

good quality and a practical design. Good for smaller items - limited room for taller items, but more than adequate for travel and very well made.

Fits heaps great for whole family. Plenty of room for things and easily divided up spaces.

Tons of space to hold everything I need for a trip away. Even when stuffed full, it folds up well so it doesn’t take up additional unplanned luggage space. Unable to determine how it holds up over time but so far, it does not appear to be flimsy.

Genuinely love this. Love the book and the open bottom pocket. It is a touch TOO big. Nothing horrendous. Might make carry-on travel a little more of a challenge but just means one fewer pair of pants!
