Threads don't appear to be exact with replaced part.
Replaced the water heater spigot. Working fine now but took over 15 minutes to get it to screw into the water heater female joint. Threads looked identical but after 2 or 3 threads of entry the part started to move to the side and down. Finally got it in but only about 1/2 way as being plastic did not want to break it with more pressure. Never had this happen before......interesting.

no fit my application
well this is a good idea but when you try to screw into water heater you can't make but one round and turn on knob hits bottom of water heater not letting you be able to screw all the way end to threads not quite stream line enough to fit plus if you could it would be to long to get cover on water heater. I was hoping it would work so i don't have to screw plug completely out of water heater to drain.
