(Renewed) Razer Naga Trinity MMO Mouse

Zuerst gleich vorweg: Das Produkt wurde im Originalkarton geliefert, alles war mit dabei, und die Lieferung war auch ultrapünktlich.Die Installation war schnell geschehen, weil ich die Razer-Synapse ohnehin installiert hatte (nutze neben der Maus auch ein Keyboard und ein Mauspad von Razer).Ich habe probeweise die Aufsätze (die Seitenpaneele) gewechselt und das ging super, also auch da alles gut. Mir geht es jedoch hauptsächlich um das Nummernpad, da ich derzeit wieder MMOs spiele und die Maus für Spiele wie WOW fantastisch ist... einfach über das Nummernpad die Aktionen/Fähigkeiten in der Hauptaktionbar triggern. Nach etwas Eingewöhnungszeit findet man zielsicher die gewünschte der 12 Tasten auf dem Nummernfeld.Nun noch zur Vorgeschichte bzw. die Anmerkung "hoffe, auch auf Dauer"... ich habe 2009 meine erste Razer Naga gekauft. Hatte vorher 4 Jahre ein anderes Modell vom gleichen Hersteller im Dauereinsatz und hatte gute Erfahrungen mit Zuverlässigkeit und Lebensdauer.Besagte erste Naga war toll und nach etwas Übung wollte ich si ebei MMOs nicht mehr missen. Natürlich kann man die Tasten auch für andere Spiele nutzen, indem man z.B. die Tastenbelegung im Spiel selbst oder die der Tasten an der Maus in Razer Synapse anpasst.Leider gab die Naga damals nach fast exakt 2 Jahren den Geist auf... die linke Maustaste funktionierte nicht mehr. Bei meiner Recherche dazu stellte sich raus, dass das wohl ein typisches Problem bei der Naga ist bzw. war. Man könnte eine Sollbruchstelle vermuten :) (Grob ging es um die Nutzung von Plastikteilen an einer Stelle, an der langlebigeres Metall echt die bessere Wahl gewesen wäre).Ich habe mir eine weitere Naga gekauft und bei der passierte das Gleiche. Man könnte fragen "Warum dann neue Nagas kaufen?". Nun, der Preis, auf 2 Jahre gerechnet, war für mich ok, und ich wollte den Komfort des Nummernpads plus die Haptik des Modells einfach nicht mehr missen.Es gab eine Überarbeitung und ich HOFFE, dass das Problem inzwischen behoben ist bei dieser neueren Generation. Denn wenn man sich erstmal dran gewöhnt hat, ist die Maus echt gut. Sollte sich das alte Problem wieder bemerkbar machen, werde ich diese Rezension entsprechend anpassen. Nur als "softe" Warnung: VOrsicht - hat man sich erstmal an die Naga gewöhnt, wird es schwierig, irgendwann wieder auf die Steuerung über Nummerntasten auf der Tastatur umzusteigen. :)

It's a little overpriced and the materials feel pretty cheap but otherwise it's a good mouse, probably won't last more than a year, mine only lasted around 4 months but that was with heavy use

I had the OG razer naga since 2010 or 2012. i dunno its been a while. I mostly play MMOs and MOBAs so the naga was a no brainer to get back then. it was such a great mouse, durable (gamers put their stuff through hell sometimes) and felt great for a guy with bigger hands. loved the mouse and used the crap out of it. 6-8 years later the laser decided to go where it pleased. tried different computers and different usb ports and it was the same. so i decided to get a new naga, after a few min of looking online for a new one i find out they dont sell or make them anymore and i found this gem. was a little skeptical on how the different attachments work and how they clip on, there are no clips its all magnets. its so much fun to pop it off and put a new one on. the lights are awesome, puts my plain green razer keyboard to shame. it still feels like the old naga the way it fits in your hand is very comfy, no hand or wrist strain. been about a month or so since ive got this one, even though its refurbished it looked brand new when i opened the plain box it came in. would definitely tell anyone who games, even if its just a little to get this mouse, especially if you play different types of games. one is great for my MMOs like Elder Scrolls Online and such, the circle one is great for mobas (it takes a little bit to train your hands to understand what button is where on the circle one, as they are not in order) and the one with 2 buttons on the side works great when im play destiny or battlefield. everything works great and looks even better. Now i have to "accidentally" break my keyboard so the wife will let me get a new one that changes colors to match the mouse. ;) price- 10/10, function-10/10, durability so far-10/10 (it has been dropped due to cable tucking and puppies), look-10/10. Just do yourself a favor if your a gamer and get this mouse! even if you dont game its got a simple attachment for normal mouse use.

I was surprised by the quality of the refurbished mouse. It was clean with very minor signs of use. One big complaint is the mouse wheel is not fully functional. It feels like its slipping and is slow to scroll. Its really starting to bug me which is why I wanted to mention it. Not bad for the price but I cant see myself using it for very long.

The product is designed to be flexible with three interchangeable thumb plates that you can switch on the fly. So far I have only used two of the three thumb plates. It is easy to change the plates as they just snap in place automatically with the aid of the built-in magnet. When you bring the plate near the mouse it will seem to jump out of your hand and into place. It almost seems harder to take the plates off than put one on.As far as negative feedback, I would say the only thing is that one time the thumb plate appeared to stop responding to input which resulted in me having to unplug the mouse then take the plate off and put it back on then reconnect. That has only happened to me once since I had the mouse. I use it every day for everything, not just gaming and I am on my computer about 10-12 hours a day so the mouse has been put through its paces.Overall it is a solid mouse. The mouse itself seems contoured to my hand but it may seem bulky to someone with small hands. If you've used a Razer Naga mouse before then it will not feel any different. Some will probably disagree with the price tag but if the cost is not an issue then it is a solid computer mouse.
