Deep is the follow up to Simply , by Hypnotherapist Alan Wick, which has been selling steadily for two years, and has been receiving almost universal praise. Deep employs the same high quality production techniques as Simply , but has been made with the needs of the more analytical, inquisitive, or ‘close’, listener in mind, although it can be equally enjoyed, and equally effective for anyone. Deep still features Alan’s reassuring voice, and uses echo tracks to great effect, at times using them to cascade over the listener’s attention, all perfectly audible, but overflowing in a way which forbids careful examination of each word. There are more open spaces on Deep than before, and the scripted parts of dialogue largely avoid being unduly descriptive until the is well established, to prevent the sort of critical scrutiny that can allow attention to remain vigilant, which of course prevents .
