NECA - Gremlins 2 - Deluxe Action Figure - Deluxe Boxed Spider Gremlin

Like Dr. Catheter said "All they have to do is to eat three or four children and there'd be the most appalling publicity." Let's face it Gremlins 2, and the original are both equally a part of 80's kids movie library. Much like Goonies, and Monster Squad these movies seem to speak to "modern" kids even. My nephew loves these movies, and even more the creepy, Gremli's that NECA has produced. I was hesitent to buy two of these (one for me and one for my nephew), but am glad I did. Right now the price is right (wait to long and you will easily be looking at spending twice as much in the secondary market), and the detail is on the mark. -Size: Easily one the othe Larger NECA creations, and no detail is lost -Build Quality: This isn't something that will fall over, lose balance, or break after an "adult" collector poses it, or a young child (8-10 yrs old) plays with it re-enacitng sceens from the movie. Or just usign as a monster for his/her G.I. Joes. -I would sugest the following if this is a gift for a kid. A) Have an adult put it together, the leg are ticky even for an adult to pop in place B) Make sure the child won't be frietend by the figure (it is wonderfully creepy after all) C) Don't! feed them aftrer midnight !!!! With that said, this is a must by for the Gremlin fan if your life, or a younger generation fan.

This is very well made. It's easy to assemble you just have to put the legs one. It's very easy if you follow the instructions with the hot water. It's posable & balances well on the stand provided.

Slight damage to the box but the product itself was in perfect condition. So I’ll give it a 5. Regardless, the product is amazingly. Its detail and color make it one of NECA’s best. It’s on par with my 1/10 Queen Alien (Aliens).

Eyw catching enough to always gets people talking. Masterfully sculpted and perfectly painted. Make room because he is a big boy.

Oh boy! I felt like a little kid when this arrived in the mail and I opened the cardboard Amazon box to see the box inside. I bought this for my husband for xmas and after the excitement I felt seeing it, even after I was the one that ordered it, I knew this would be a hit on Christmas morning! It's fantastic and he totally loved it! The detail is so impressive. His legs can move in 3 places, you can move his head, arms, elbows, upper body and jaw! I highly recommend it for any Gremlins fan for sure. (5 stars for looks. I'd minus one for difficulty of attaching legs without any tips included.. I did read the reviews on here, and I have a heat gun, so a few seconds blast on the ball joint and we were able to pop them on no problem.)

OMG this thing is amazing. It's even bigger than it looks in the photos. The paint job alone is worth over $100 easily. If you love the Gremlins movies this is a must have item. Installing the legs is simple if you follow these instructions: Microwave a coffee mug full of water for 2 minutes. Grab the whole gremlin and dip his pre-attached leg-stubs into the hot water for about 15-20 seconds (2 at a time speeds things up). When you pull them out they will be very soft & rubbery. Quickly snap the leg extensions into the softened ball-cups. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes complete the assembly. DO NOT heat up the separate legs. If they are softened, there is no chance they will snap in. PS: You can also use the hot water to soften & straighten out his spiked mo-hawk and ears (if necessary). Once soft & flimsy, flattening with a piece of ice to harden nice & straight.
