I received product and the packaging was in good condition. I followed the instructions in putting the unit together without any problems. I tested the rotation function before I installed the unit outside as the instructions indicate and it does NOT WORK. I checked to find the LED indicator on the Antenna bracket as directed in the instructions, however there is NO LED INDICATOR - either the instructions are incorrect or I have a faulty unit. Further, the coaxial cable is separated somewhat at the point where it enters the connector that attaches to the Power Box. I went ahead and connected the unit to the Power Box and in turn the Power Box to the TV figuring I can hand adjust the location of the antenna if I have to. The instructions are lacking regarding this portion of installation but I can understand somewhat as all TVs are not the same, however since I have a neighbor that has this antenna and it works for them, I figure I should be able to receive some signals when the unit is powered on. NOT SO! So now I am faced with a unit that will NOT WORK, and since the rotation function does not work, there is NO LED INDICATOR, and the coaxial cable may be damaged inside the connection I wonder how the supplier is going to blame me. In all fairness I have waited over a month to take on the task of installation, but since I had not even opened the box it seems like I should have some satisfaction coming............HELP!

Great antenna, best choice for 40+ mile range or more. Comes with rotor built in, control and control box.You can't beat it for the price and I did some looking around for a performance antenna for lower frequencies channel 8 and 101080 HD resolution right off the air versus low res cable box......

I have just ordered my third one of the exact same antennas. Both of the first two lasted less than six months with both experiencing burned out transformers in the amp. As all others complained, the rotor stuck periodically and just did not work sometimes. The antenna and amp functions are great. I am between 45 and 65 miles from transmitters and received great signals when it worked. The only reason I am ordering the third one is to use it until the transformer blows, and then replace the transformer with a more hefty one.(Discarded the other two.) If these were more expensive, I probably would have considered a warranty claim. If this does not work any better, I will go for an omnidirectional. My signals come from four different directions.

Could not use in attic as I had hoped but it works well receiving channels mounted outside. Wish it were a little sturdier.

This unit and a 2nd unit I purchased performed a short time before the signal amplifyer failed. Vendor refused to take it back. I purchased this device knowing return would be a hassle. It performed well the week that it was in service. Not sure why it failed to work.

This works great...picks up stations 40 mi from my location....rotor is cheap, plastic chinese made...buy hey, what do you expect for this low cost...???
