This pen is great, I am new to fountain pens but also tried LAMY safari and a few others - this by far is the best - price is amazing. The pens are weighted perfectly, break in easy, write beautifully and feel durable and luxurious. The mechanism to fill works so much better than “bladder” type. I am using diamine shimmering inks (4 diff shades: black, pink, green, and blue) and all perform well. I primarily use with smythson notebook and wmsco paper but honestly they work great on everything I have written bothered to write on (envelopes, cheap notebooks, post its). I never write reviews but these are so lovely worth sharing for anyone on the fence.

I have a collection of fountain pens, more than 100. The collection ranges in price and size. I was pleasantly surprised by this pen and the 606 model with EF nib. The pen feels and writes better than some expensive manufacturers. The body of the pen is metal and has a good weight. The weight is balanced for long writing periods without exhaustion or hand cramp. The pen does not skip across the page. The 606 model is perfect for note taking in the margins of pages. I will likely purchase a couple more of both models to have in the office and to carry. This is a great everyday pen. The pen will take bottled ink and cartridge. The ink flow is immediate and flows continuously for smooth writing. 10-13-23 I wanted a white pen!! It writes so well! First purchase from this company. I did use nice paper and ink so maybe that helped. Happy with my purchase so far. I will up date this at a later date. Great for a Newby to see if they like writing with fountain pens. 1 year later! I have reinked this pen several times, it’s one of my favorites!!! I have some pens cost double this price and don’t write this smooth! Can’t go wrong with this one.

This pen offers quite the presentation upon opening. An outer box with their logo and design and within that box is another magnetic specialty box with their design once more and upon opening that box you find the pen perfectly presented and ensconced in plastic wrap. I immediately opened that wrapping and inked this pen with Noodler’s 54th Massachusetts Blue ink and away we go. I found the nib to be rather smooth and the pen to be very responsive very soon after it was inked. The ink seem to flow right out and didn’t have any skip or stammers for the first time writing. Pen is very well balanced and not too weighty and the cap posts just fine and doesn’t add any more weight to the pan while writing. You also get a lovely satisfying click upon closure. For the price and the color I would definitely buy it again. Quite impressed with Picasso (Pimio).

I purchased this pen without reading the description. I didn't know fountain pens came with different nib sizes. Make sure you get really good ink because I made the mistake and purchased Pilot fountain pen ink blue-black and it was more similar to plain blue. I could very well see myself purchasing more of these pens in multiple locations. The pen comes with a converter that's super smooth to operate and very effective at filling the barrel easily with ink. In less than 5 minutes of receiving my package, I was loaded with ink and writing. This is a great entry-level pen with a beautiful color and finish, which I believe will last awhile. I'll be sure to update my review if anything changes. I'm definitely buying another pen to have as a backup.

I don't know what's gotten into me but I'm suddenly obsessed with fountain pen inks that shimmer and shine and although I love the pens that's not really where I spend money. I've got some that I consider very nice but they aren't the high end brands that people spend 100s on so take that into consideration. I have a lamy that I really like and a host of pens under $30 but I saw this Picasso in pink and had to have it for my new diamine shimmer ink. I just used it and it's smooth like butter with wonderful ink flow. Shimmer inks can be harder on ink flow but not this one. It's so nice. I may just stick with this brand. The box it came in was gorgeous and it's got a really nice converter plus at $20 on sale, this may be the absolute perfect gift for someone. All the juicy colors. So happy I got this!!

I like the weight. It’s not absurdly large like many fountain pens, but it leaks. Continuously. It does not fit standard cartridges well. You can make it work, but they advertise that it does fit standards and — just don't waste your time with that. To get a standard to fit you need to jam it on more forcefully than is reasonable so it seems like not a match. You will be stuck buying this brand’s ink. But worse, the ink does not flow to the tip when writing so how is this even a pen? Totally defeats the purpose of my purchase. Ink flow: poor (unless it is capped and then it floods) Cartridge fit: not standard Feel: pleasant in hand Writing pull: almost zero. As in, this barely writes. It doesnt pull the ink through. There is no point to a pen that cannot apply ink to paper. Recommend: NO! Mine is stained on the inside of the cap and yet i may have gotten 100 words written with it. I wanted a different pen to do editing but couldnt even get through 5 chapters before it conked out. Garbage. Spent too much time waiting for their ink to be able to return. This product is trash and i recommend against the company’s products.

All fountain pen lovers should keep it. Very smooth like butter and looks royal pen. Just to say it is almost 20% more costly

I cannot believe that this pen writes better than many of my far pricier ones. Smooth with just the right feedback. The only drawback is that the section is a bit slippery. It’s now better after I used a very fine micro mesh to make it less smooth. Recommended
