MAGNIFICENT But What Gutter???
MAGNIFICENT CROCK 🐊 Just got it. BUT, what gutter??? Product documentation mentions "...need to top off the water in the gutter that makes a seal 🦭 from the outside air." Inside of crock is smooth and glazed, top unglazed but nothing approaching a gutter is present. Are these instructions for an older or a different design???

It's a great stone crock!
Being my first time making pickles, I needed a good stone crock. So, I ordered this particular one. It's wonderful. Well made. A good weight. Good fitting lid with stones to weigh down the cucumbers. It's a great buy!

Great Sauerkraut Crock
Downsizing from my 25 gallon crock to a much more manageable 5 gallon crock for sauerkraut. Having the weights and lid is awesome. Crock was shipped perfectly and quickly. Looking forward to Kraut season.

I haven't used this yet but plan to when picking season comes in. It's a great size. Sturdy looking and the weight will come in handy.
