greatest network cable with great price
It is the greatest well made network cable that I have ever seen(I use Belden Belkin AMP before), This cable has a double shield inside and each pair has its own shield, so that makes it total 3 shield. So the wire is CAT7 standard, and the most important thing is the shield of the wire is welded together with the shield of the RJ-45 connector.(There were many brand that did not wild them which causing the shield to be completely useless)For thoes that think the cable is too hard, I can tell you if a CAT7 cable is soft and easy to band, there is a high chance that the cable is not CAT7 even not CAT6, they both should have some internal structure which make them almost impossible to be soft.

Right! Nobody move! And save your box!
I purchased this new cable (not warehouse deal) and it drops link when connected if I move it in the slightest. I am connecting from a Google Fiber jack to the google fiber box. A dropped link causes the connection process to start over again between the fiber module and Google box. I actually cleaned both ports with QD plastic safe electronic cleaner and tried again but when the cable is touched or wiggled while connected it drops connection. Not good. I reverted back to the cat6 in use for 2 years and repeated the exercise of picking up the box and moving the cable while connected with no issue. So im returning. Judging by the number of Warehouse Deal cables there must be a lot of others returning them.

DIRECT CONNECT is the way to go.
I love using a direct connection to my router rather than going wireless because it gave a HUGE boost to my NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro Home Media Server which is in a different room of the basement than where the router is. Now, all the media streaming from the SHIELD TV is as smooth as can be. I chose a Cat7 cable to future-proof my setup for several years. If you're paying for high-speed Internet service, direct connect is the way to go.

Why buy anything else??
I love this Cat7 cable, it is awesome! It is very well made, nice and thick cable, clicks into the Ethernet slots really good. Probably one of the best basic cables I've run across. Would highly recommend upgrading your old Ethernet cable (Cat5 or Cat6) to this one. I've already bought another and will probably replace every cable with one of these. Nice job Amazon, really good cable and excellent price.

Questionable quality; can only handle 100Mbps speeds
From my experience, I can't recommend. I was getting really slow speeds on my gigabit connection that I was having a hard time figuring out. The last thing I suspected was the connection from the modem to the router which this cable was handling. Turns out the connection was only at 100Mbps. Replaced it with a simple Cat 5e cable and, boom, the modem showed it at 1000 Mbps. The fact that this cable was the problem makes the quality of these questionable. That alone, given the amount of high quality cables out there, is enough that should consider the quality of these cables.

The 25ft cable works great at 1Gbps speed
The 25ft cable works great at 1Gbps speed. The ping test, as well as the large file transfer test, did not show any signal deterioration compared with a 3ft CAT7 cable.

Affordable and Durable
The price has gone up since I purchased my item for $8.75 a while back. However, compared to most competitors it's still available at a great price. I am impressed with the good quality and the end connectors appear to be very durable. What's the difference between Cat7 and Cat 8 cables ?Pros And Cons:Cat 7 Cables:Pros – Shielded with a higher operating frequency than Cat6a cables.Cons – They are a bit expensive. They require 40 to 60% more space to contain the cable and different connections. Their testing is trickier and requires modern test equipment. There is no real speed advantage over a good Cat6a system.Cat 8 Cables:Pros – The fastest copper network cable available for any distance.Cons – Due to different connectors, they are not compatible with cat5e and cat 6 cables. These cables are also more expensive than the previous versions.I highly recommend this Cat 7 cable and I think you may see some speed improvement over Cat 6 if you have it. My ping ratio did go down and my internet speed increased overall by 10%. Unfortunately, Amazon fails to inform you if the gold plating provided is 50 microns or not which is a must for improved stable performance. Lastly, if you're running a longer cable connection you might prefer a flat cable instead for added flexibility. Ultimately the final decision will be left up to you. At least now you have some additional points to consider. Hopefully you'll be pleased with your purchase.

Meets most Cat7 standards, reduced CRC errors
There are many cables on Amazon that claim to be Cat7, Cat 7 cables require individually shielded wires then the entire bundle also needs to be shielded, of the many cables available these Amazon Basics cables seem to meet the "basic" requirements to be classified as Cat7. I would prefer if they were 22AWG instead of 24 but much better than the "flat" Cat7 cables by others with 32 AWG wires that aren't even shielded around the wire bundle, basically Cat6a running at a higher frequency. These cables are stiffer compared to CAt6a or Cat5e, but that means that they are properly shielded unlike the highly flexible Cat7 flat variants. I was running Cat5e cables on my network and recieving a large number of CRC errors to the point whereas my router would restart periodically, I figured layer 1 problem and started with the basics, new switch & new cables. I replaced those tired outdated cables with these properly shielded Cat7 cables and reduced my CRC errors drastically, I know it's difficult to get nearly zero CRC errors from a DSL connection as the quality/ condition of the Cat3 (my house is almost 50 years old) wiring coming into my home can make a difference (I'm also running ethernet over powerline) and an ISPs overall connection quality varies, especially Century Link's quality, but so far I am pleased.

One of the Worst Electronic Product by AmazonBasics
As advertised as CAT 7 cable. It is not one it does not appear to be a CAT 5 cable even. The maximum speed I was getting with my old cable which is not certified was 700 mbps. My other cat5 cable was giving me approximatly 97-98 mbps. But this so called CAT 7 cable even does not touch 90 mbps (I have 1 gbps connection). I wanted to get maximum out of my internet connection so I tought of buying this. Even a 50 mbps of speed increase would have been great but this is just the worst one.Guys dont go on the look. It appears to be sturdy but the internal built is not like that. Even a CAT 6 cable gives 1 gbps in less than 55 meter range. I have requested for a replacement, if I get an original one I will revise my rating. It is 0 start for product and the two star is earned by the quick delivery and good customer support.

Netflix and Amazon TV judder solution - Amazing cable for the price.
I purchased 6 of these to upgrade my home network as Amazon and Netflix 4K kept juddering even though the bandwidth and modem speeds were well over the required specifications. Wow what a difference. No juddering or hesitation at all now. If you have this issue then go for it. The cables are thicker and not as flexible as older cat 5 or Cat 6 cables, however Cat 7 offers more resistance to RF and this is a benefit when you have music servers in the Network mix. I use TP-Link switches and the outputs are tight with these cables but once home then job done as I won’t be unplugging anytime soon. Just note that if you are constantly plugging and unplugging these cables in and out this ‘issue’ could getting a tad annoying. Hope that helps?

Perfect cable! High quality. Look no further. Get it. You won't be disappointed.
Another amazing product from Amazon basics. I play games competitively and my work requires me to have a constant stable connection. Having a wifi connection is convenient, but it come with high ping and jittery connection. Hitting 95-96mbps speeds on my 100mbps connection which was expected.Pros.1) low latency2) high quality cable, it is shielded and it is durable.3) cat 7, future proof. Supports upto 10gbps transmission speeds.ConsCan't think of any( PS: If you are looking for a Ethernet cable, got for cat 7, it enables you to have the maximum bandwidth and the most stable connection, it is future proof and backwards compatible too)

Good price for Cat 7 cables
Your local service provider can now deliver Internet service at up to 300 Mbits/s, and it's highly likely that higher speeds will soon be available. Cat 7 cables provide a more reliable connection for high speed LAN connections. If the RJ45 ports on your devices or modem show both lights flashing whilst active, it means they are capable of delivering/accepting data at 1000 Mbits.s. If only 1 light flashes on the port, then the max speed handled is 100 MBits/s or 10 MBits/s depending on which of the 2 lights is indicating traffic. In that case you won't need Cat 7 cables unless you get modems or devices capable of accessing the data at higher speeds.

Good quality cable
I just bought a new router so I decided to upgrade my cat 5 cable at the same time. I nearly went with ugreen but amazon own brand is always reliable quality and it was cheaper. The downside is it doesn't look very nice compared to other brands but its a cable... Most of the time it's going to be hidden anyway. Its also extremely rigid due to the shielding which is a good thing for durability but it makes it hard to straighten out and due to this I need a size bigger cable than I actually got so I'll probably buy another one.Speed wise is as you would expect. No problems with it in that aspect.
