So much fun.
I bought this 2 years ago after watching Squid Games (reality version). This game is fantastic, I bought it for my son but my daughter and I play this every weekend. There are different playing modes so it doesn’t get boring. I maybe have over 50 board games and this one is my favourite. The instructions are easy to read and the game is easy to set up. The sound effects is definitely what sets it apart from the rest. The missed target, explosive and victory sounds make this game top tier. Delivery was also very quick considering I had this shipped to England. 10/10 would recommend

Everything I hoped for and more!
I remember when we received battleship as a gift on Christmas.....fast forward to the following summer and grandma gifted us with ELECTRONIC battleship! Setting up Electronic battleship brought back memories. The game is slim and sets up on a tilt so that you're playing at an angle vs flat on a surface. The voices are loud and clear. Pegs are very small and the lettering on the display (A1, G4, for example) are very hard to see as it is just clear plastic. Only complaints about the game. My son loves to play with another player or with the computer. This version has an "advanced game setting." However, we haven't used that setting yet. Highly recommend. The price was great as we bought a "used" version from Amazon. Game was in tact and never opened, only box was damaged, so excellent score and price. Set up and sticker placement is required, but so much fun. Highly recommend.

Great Game for Multiple Ages
I purchased this for my 9-year old grandson, but it ended up being a big hit with everyone. Set-up was very easy, and my grandson had no problem quickly learning how to enter the targets electronically and then manually mark the targets he had hit and missed. The game was fun for all ages (9 - 67 years of age) and it also has a single player mode against the computer, which my son-in-law said made him love the game even more, since my grandson can entertain himself when there's no one to play with! Very happy with this purchase!

Fun game but difficult to set up
Good game, but hard to set up and lots of very small pieces to keep track of.

Classic Fun with a High-Tech Twist!
The Electronic Battleship Game is a fantastic modern take on the classic naval combat game we all know and love. As a longtime fan of the original Battleship, I was thrilled to try out this electronic version, and it did not disappoint! The game comes with a sleek electronic game unit that adds an exciting twist to the traditional gameplay. The visuals and sound effects really immerse you in the naval battle experience, making every move feel intense and thrilling. Setting up the game is a breeze, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I appreciate that it comes with different difficulty levels, allowing players of all ages and experience levels to enjoy the fun. The electronic game unit keeps track of your moves, making it easier to focus on the strategy and enjoy the gameplay without the hassle of keeping score manually. The graphics are sharp and vibrant, adding to the overall excitement. What I love most about this version is that it retains the charm of the classic Battleship while introducing new elements that enhance the gaming experience. It's perfect for family game nights or friendly competitions with friends. The build quality is solid, and the game unit feels durable and reliable. It also has a portable size, making it great for travel or on-the-go gaming. In conclusion, the Electronic Battleship Game is a must-have for any fan of the original Battleship or anyone looking for a fun and engaging electronic board game. It brings together the nostalgia of the past with the thrill of modern technology, creating an unforgettable gaming experience!

So much fun!
My son and I had both played this when we were kids, my husband had not. My son locked in on it quickly and blew all my ships up, while we both laughed so hard I could barely breathe! My husband heard us playing it, came over, and before you know it, he was laughing with us. We did have to put a strip of paper, with the numbers and letters enlarged, so my husband and I could see them. Fantastic game!!

A must for battleship fans.
My son absolutely loves this game. If you are already use to playing battle ship it isn't too hard to get the hang of this one. My 7 yo struggled with the custom ship set up slightly but as soon as I explained he jest of it he did fine. It makes it so much more fun to play because of the sound effects and announcements when you sink a ship. And the special weapons are much cooler than when you are playing the other versions. I have noticed a glitch here or there but mostly the game runs super smooth and we love it. I really like the way the game folds up making it very easy to travel with.

Could be a LOT better - buy the non-electronic edition unless you really need 1-player-against-the-computer.
Got this electronic talking version of the classic game for my 8-year-old grandson. The biggest reason was so he could play it by himself against the computer since his parents are very busy and his younger siblings are too young for the game. The good news is that, once he "got" the overall pattern of the game, it is good for his thinking and planning and fine motor skills and following visual patterns. It actually worked best when he and I worked as a team against the computer - he could do all the button pushing and peg placement while we could both discuss where to shoot next and why and I could teach him strategy. It's a welcome change from computer games. "I LIKE THIS GAME A LOT, Grandpa!" halfway through the first game. The noises and nautical tone of voice initially add to the game excitement, but do get old once you have heard them all. BUT I have a LOT of complaints about it, both the design and the implementation. - The funky hinge that connects the three main boards is tricky to set up and collapses easily during play (when putting pegs in the boards), causing the pegs in the very shallow trays to bounce out all over the place. We finally figured out that you can play just as well with the two side trays flat and the target tray vertical, avoiding the hinge-collapse problem. - The peg trays are very shallow and barely fit all the pegs. The lids do not latch securely and I have to resort to rubber bands to keep them closed. Just jostling the game gently causes pegs to pop out of the tray. The pegs are small that if they spill out onto the floor they are easy for babies to pick up and stick into their mouths. - One set of "ships" (actually 1 ship, 3 planes and a tank) are nice and red and easy to see for one side, but the ones for the other side are dull gray and very hard to see against the medium-dark background.. - When playing with 2 players, although you don't have to keep track of the other player's hits on your ships (as in classic Battleship), if you do, there are not enough blue pegs to handle when both sides have made a lot of hits. You can of course use other color pegs. It's good practice to do so to see how well you are doing since there is no other display. - Although the computer control board has a "repeat" button to get the computer to repeat the last thing it said, often the computer says several things and you can only repeat the last one. For example, when your opponent gets a hit on one of your "ships", the computer announces where. But if the environment is at all noisy, it is easy to miss and no way to repeat it because the computer then says something else. - The labels on the rows and columns are just slightly raised clear plastic against the clear plastic background and very hard to read. I am going to take a bit of white paint or nail polish to them to make them readable. - The computer uses military alphabet words like Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, etc. for letters. Nowhere did I see in the instructions which letters corresponded to which words. It's obvious when you "get" it, but for anyone who has never been in the military it could be a mystery. - I REALLY REALLY wish the thing was set up to automatically sense where you place your ships. Using one of the predefined layouts is not bad but with the almost invisible lettering and the tiny diagrams with tiny letters, is hard to get right. Using a custom ship layout is fussy and easy to get wrong. And I really see no reason not to make the center display some sort of cheap LCD grid to show hits and misses. So, net, I would say get the classic manual game unless you really need a 1-player game against the computer.

This is great! Childhood battleship fun with additional fun features.
Packaging & Delivery - Excellent, but would've been more environment friendly if all the plastic packs were replaced by paper ones. Speedy delivery by Amazon, but the delivery guy was apparently in such a hurry that he left my package by the watchman and left before I could approach the gate. Product quality - Very nice. Nothing is chipped or not working so far. The electronic part/cpu requires 3 AA batteries, not included. Overall experience after playing for a few hours with my son and wife - Kids below 7 years of age miht find it difficult to learn, especially those with no exposure to intelligent board games. My son is 7.5 yrs old and learnt it within one game with my help. The advantage of buying the electronic version is that you can have the options of 1) playing against a cpu 2) playing against another player using electronic setup 3) playing against another player in the traditional/manual manner 4) classic and advanced mode options The only con is lack of extra pegs, so you have to be extremely careful to make sure the tiny pegs don't get lost. All in all, an excellent, fun, value for money product with lots of nostalgic value as well.

Great fun
It takes a little getting used to when setting up a game. Otherwise great entertainment. Well constructed. I can commend this product.

Super bataille navale électronique
J'ai acheté ce produit par Nostalgie et je ne suis pas déçue. Je retombe en enfance. Par contre je donne un 4 car la décoration est à coller et les autocollants sont fragiles. Attention en anglais.

Buttons not working
The buttons B2/C3 are not working. Can’t choose 2 players because button 2 is not working. Called customer service for replacement, and they told me they will refund me and the recipient of this game (which was supposed to be a gift for my grandchildren in Singapore) can keep the defective game. I didn’t realize that to return the game for replacement, I will have to pay shipping costs.
