What is the response time of this monitor? "Virtually lag-free" isn't specific

Great question.

Our M155 IPS gaming panel is based on providing great gaming at 60fps. Frames reset every 16.67ms when gaming on consoles or PCs at that rate.

Since human eyes cannot track details consistently below 16ms and since the trained human brain (even pro gamers) cannot consistently perceive the image differences changing below 16ms (as proven multiple times with pro gamers at MIT), any monitor that has a response time of half of that 16.67ms is "virtually lag-free". Lag-free itself is impossible.

Many people buy TN panels because they believe G2G 0-1ms is the actual latency. This is a lie. The TN panel may start at 5ms, use overdrive to get to 0-1ms G2G, but overall latency may be seen between 5ms and 12ms depending on all things attached to the monitor experience and the monitor itself. That is a fact. Important at 100fps, but for the most part irrelevant at 60fps. However, using TN panels means gamers give up depth of color and other benefits they get with IPS panels. They make this trade for something that really has little or no impact until gaming at 100fps or more (10ms with a threshold at 5ms as the half-frame break point) which is also faster than the human eyes/brain can perceive. Thus the reason GAEMS moved to gaming IPS panel to provide more benefits and a superior gaming experience at 60fps. The panel begins life as an 8ms gaming panel that can be driven down to 5ms G2G with overdrive. The overall latency that should be measured is not G2G, but it is also tied to the equipment that the consumer attaches to the monitor. Overall this will be below the 16.67ms frame rate and most often can occur under 8.3ms

So, the fact is that anyone selling a 60fps monitor for gaming that claims a low 1ms G2G with TN, a 5ms IPS G2G or even a 12ms overall latency product is virtually lag-free. We just choose not to hide behind numbers that other companies use to drive sales of things that make little or no difference and usually come at the cost of a great gaming experience because they want to make people believe they can see the unicorns and leprechauns that these numbers equate to.

How is this powered? Does it plug to a wall? I wanna use it with a nintendo switch/Ps4

This device is compatible with PS4, Xbox One, Xbox OneS, Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch, PC. There are two options when powering the device. It comes with a Power Adapter Plug, and it can also be powered by a single USB connection to the gaming console. The device also requires an HDMI connection to the gaming console that you use. What is the required voltage and amperage to power the monitor?

Hi, as it is usb voltage it is 5vdc, and as it requires 2 ports on a computer I recommend 1 amp on a transformer at 5 vdc

Will this work with a ps5 and Xbox series x?

It works with PS5 and XBox Series X/S and any device with HDMI input. You can even get PS1, PS2, GameCube, etc to work if you have the right conversions from AV to HDMI. However, I don't advice buying this product as it's cheaply made and could arrive damaged.
