Love the father christmas story and this mini book is awesome and nostalgic 👍

Loved this book and it was an early edition!!

So glad I now own this classic.

This is beautifully illustrated and I liked that it was a board book. I didn’t think the images were too small as some reviewers suggested. Of course they are smaller - it’s a board book. It is - like The Snowman - wordless. However, because it is like this it stimulates dialogue. Your child can talk you through what’s happening from looking at the pictures which is fabulous! My daughter loved this book and took it around with her because she could ‘read’ it to herself.

Disappointed in the size of this book, as to really enjoy the pictures you need a larger book. Next time will go for paper back and double the size

Childhood memories favourite!

My 3 year old son is fascinated by this book and able to enjoy it either on his own (picture book) or with me adding some thoughts and explanations for us to discuss together. A magical book in the run up to Christmas.
