Purchased to create wall panels. I recommend gluing them down before painting. I did the reverse and the paint moisture made the pieces warp a bit. Luckily we have caulk!They’re nice and very detailed. They aren’t smooth and the intricacies make them hard to sand. I did not take the time but I’m pleased with the result!

I like the price for 4 of these appliques but you get what you pay for, as in any case and with this amount of detail carved out of real wood, really thin, real wood, you should expect the pieces to need some extra TLC and I was prepared for what I received. The 1st photo here shows one half of one piece that is just chewed up and it arrived in this condition but I also damaged it trying to correct the edges by sanding with a nail file. I sanded lightly, the wood chipped off and it looks worse. I am describing the issues for those looking for a smooth finished piece. Dont expect smoothness or perfection LOL. Each of the 4 pieces have defects but some of the issue can be sanded away.An extremely light sanding and thorough dusting of the nooks and crannies and I am happy. Although I am a little dissatisfied with their condition over all, I plan to chalk paint them and antique wax and distress them so for the price and how quickly they arrived, I am certainly purchasing many more styles of these wooden appliques.

These are not pressed together layers, they are carved from a single piece of wood which will hold up much better.

These little wooden embellishments arrived in perfect condition snd will look very nice on the baby doll cradle I am building fir my granddaughter.

Good crisp detail with individual pieces. Very minor discrepancies in detail across the set of 4 pieces when held close together which the eye should not pick up when pieces are typically used.

I used this to help turn a 1990s bathroom cabinet into something more unusual and beautiful. I applied the same purple stain I used on the cabinet and then a sealant. It took the stain very well. I’m very happy with the results.

Habe sie an meinen TV Schrank geklebt zwischen zwei kristallgriffe. Die holz, Ornamente allerdings Silber angemalt. Sieht sehr schön aus. kleiner Tipp. Ich habe sie mit doppelseitigen Klebeband angeklebt. Somit Wersau ich meinen Schrank nicht, falls ich die Ornamente nicht mehr an meinen TV Schrank haben möchte, sind sie einfach abzunehmen.
