Ther-most amazing lunch container
This food container is everything we needed! Keeps my son's lunch properly hot until his late lunch period, which is a game-changer for a picky high school freshman. No more cold pasta or lukewarm soup - everything stays nice and toasty.Super durable too - has survived being tossed around in a backpack full of textbooks and teenagers' general lack of gentleness. Easy to clean and doesn't hold onto food smells. And hey, son, if you're reading this review someday - remember how we kept your lunches warm all through high school? Please feed us warm food when we get older.Pro tip: the thermos comes with two plastic bpa free inner containers. Contact the manufacturer for additional ones if needed.

Stays warm all day!
Absolutely a game changer!! My husband works 12+ hr shifts, and his lunch/supper will stay hot literally all day. if I put soup in when it’s extra hot, I think I the veggies keep cooking and come out a little soggy, so keep that in mind. I Love the large size of the thermos. It comes with two plastic containers with lids, which are great for a lunch serving and supper serving, or a main dish and side dish. Or you could just fill the thermos right up to the top without using the containers! Only downside is the containers do stain easily from spaghetti etc (but what Tupperware doesn’t stain from spaghetti 😆) and if you forget about to clean our your lunchbox over the weekend, it can be a little hard to get the smell out of Tupperware. The metal thermos doesn’t seem to absorb smell tho, which is wonderful! I would like to see if I can buy some more of the Tupperware dishes, but have yet to look into that. 10/10 reccomend.

upgraded rating
I just upgraded my rating on this product because I found another use for it that takes it from being (for me) a great product, to an AWESOME product.I got this to use as a thermal cooker for emergency meals, and for me it performs very well for that task, even though it is not advertised for this purpose. And it's a good size for 2 servings.I just wasn't sure I found any value in the plastic jars that came with it. Thinking I would rather have just gotten the insulated steel jug without the jars and maybe saved a few bucks, I took off one star from my rating. The jars are made of plastic that could become deformed with too much heat, so I didn't think I'd have much use for them.THEN I made a decision to start making my own yogurt to reduce the amount of plastic trash I throw out that can't be recycled. This thermos jug works beautifully as a yogurt incubator, and the jars can not only be used for incubation — the temperature is no higher than 115 F, which is well within the temperature range they can withstand — they also make great storage jars in the fridge.BONUS: If you don't want to use plastic to incubate your yogurt, the steel jug is just the right size to fit a quart-sized mason jar. The only thing is, the inner part of the lid won't fit, so when you use a mason jar, you can just stuff a clean kitchen wash cloth into the jug on top of the jar to insulate the lid, then put the lid on. After 12 hours sitting on the countertop, the contents have lost some warmth, of course, but are still warm enough to keep incubation going.I really liked this thermos jug before, but now I LOVE it.

Keeps Food Warm, But Not as Hot as Expected
The THERMOS Stainless King is a great product overall. I love the sturdy design, the two storage container inserts are super convenient, and it's easy to clean. However, I was expecting it to keep food hotter for longer. I serve my kids' lunch at 6 AM, and by the time they eat it at 12 PM, it's warm but not as hot as I hoped. It’s still a good product, just not perfect for keeping food piping hot for extended periods. A solid 4 stars!

Still warm after 14 hours
I wanted to see how long this would keep my food warm. I made beans, rice, smoked sausage and put n thermos (not in the plastic containers). 14 hours later it was not hot like when I put it in, but was still good and warm. Very eatable with microwaving it. Yeah I like it. Next I'm gonna try fruit and cereal in the two plastic containers and see how long that stays cold.

No more microwave at work!
I don’t like to microwave my food. Heat your food very well in the morning still hot 5hrs later. Need to blow on the food to cool it down. Saw a thermos half the size at home goods for the same price. Doesn’t leak, works great, lots of storage. Love that you can toss in the dishwasher!
