Foliage is very dark green throughout the season, turning bright red in the fall. Good sturdy growth habit - slightly more globose in habit than many other Crapes. Has shown good resistance to powdery mildew. This variety is definitely one of the more popular of all the Crape Myrtles we grow & offer. Good growth rate, and excellent bloom production. Crapemyrtles are excellent specimen trees, as well as natural privacy barriers. They are exceptionally attractive focal points at the corners of foundation plantings or in groupings at the corners of your property.

Plant arrived in perfect condition
This plant arrived in perfect healthy condition. It is not wilted and it is still wet enough to stay hydrated. The fast delivery and excellent packing hasn't harmed the plant at all.

I just received my Catawba Purple Crape Myrtle tree that I ordered a week ago. It is in excellent condition and I am highly impressed that the tree was well packed, looks very healthy, with very green leaves with a lot of moisture and mulch in the plant pot.

Won't buy again
Overpriced for a twig. Well planted in fall and fertilized and dead in a month. Wasted money. Will buy a replacement at Lowes this spring. Very disappointing.

This Plant came almost dead to me and is now maybe 5 inches Not at all worth the money

Won't replace if it dies.
Do not recommend this product for the Northeast of the country. It does not survive over the winter. Very short warranty. Not very receptive to return requests.
