Active Ankle Excel Lace-up Ankle Brace For Injured Ankle Protection and Sprain Support

This is a well made product and it provides great support for the ankle. However, I have a wide size foot (E width) and found this was just too tight to wear for any period of time. It cut off circulation, my foot would throb and get numb. No amount of messing with the lace would stop this, except for removing the lace completely and just using the velcro straps. The velcro straps alone don't provide much support.To put it on, I had to unlace it to the last 2 loops and lacing it is time consuming and a little awkward, not sure if I would do this every day. The loops close tightly and you must lace them from below, which is difficult, with the loops on the outside of the ankle being the most difficult.I gave it 3 stars because it does what it is supposed to do and is a quality item, but putting it on is a pain. I am not knocking it down because I have a wide foot, I would give 3 stars if it fit perfectly.

I play soccer and have torn ligaments in my ankle multiple times, so a friend recommended me this brace and I love it! What I think sets this brace apart form others is that it has the side-to-side stabilization straps that you dont get with just a lace up ankle brace for added support. It is still lace up making it easy to put on/take off for activities which is much easier than having to tape all the time. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because it is a little bulky but not too bad. One I wore it a couple of times I think I broke it in quite well and dont notice it anymore but just be aware this is not so low profile, its heavy duty support which is what I was looking for.

My daughter suffered a severe ankle sprain during basketball. We wasted a lot of money on different ankle braces in a very short period of time. We bought ones from big retail store an one for $85 from a medical supply company in our town. None of these worked because they simply did not fit into her shoe or would not allow for any range of motion without causing a secondary skin injury. This brace was recommended and we gave it a try and it worked beautifully. It fit into the shoe and provided the necessary support but also flexed in the appropriate areas to allow for activity. This is an essential brace if you are in the rehab phase of your recovery and still need some support but need to also have range of motion. It is breathable and slender and washes very well. I highly recommend this product.

Best thing that I could buy for my ankle. I had troubles with my ankles due soccer injuries for decades and this is the best product I have ever had. It's comfortable, easy to wear, you can still move your ankle enough so you feel the ball (if you're a soccer player). My foot is a 10 and I use Medium Ankle Brace, L seems to be somewhat bigger but still ok to use. If you play soccer this will save your life!

My son hurt his ankle playing soccer. This brace provides a ton of support and let him get back on the field much faster than just therapy alone. He also isn't worried about injuring it again because he has decided to continue to wear it. Good choice in my opinion.

It is supportive and does the job, but the laces often get stuck in all the velcro and you end up having to untangle things if you aren't careful when storing it. It does fit well inside shoes.

I really like this race. It is comfortable and easy to lace up the only issue I have is you have to wear higher socks because the velcro can rub against your bare ankle
