Sexiest toilet shut off money can buy.
Hope the longevity of this product is as good as it looks. I had access to pipe behind wall, make sure you set the 1/2” copper female flush with the front of your material or it would stick out. Used blue devil pipe tape and blue thread sealant on the NPT threads and zero leaks. Couldn’t find a black flex line to match it so I spray painted a flex line with rustoleum satin which matches is perfect. Totally recommend.

A beautiful alternative to a cheap shutoff
If you are looking for something more upscale than what you can purchase at the local big-chain hardware store, then these are great. You need to make sure you have a 1/2" female screw fitting flush with your wall/tile before you can use these otherwise they will not sit flush.

Nice looking, smooth operating, solid valve (easy to correct handle position issue)
Like a few reviews have said, the valves came with the knob in the incorrect position. The knob is splined and a dab of glue is used to hold the handle. Attached pic of how I approached taking the handle off. Used a piece of pvc I had laying around on 3/8 outlet, layed the valve in the vise loose in a cloth, then while holding pvc, strike at base on pvc with mallet. One good pop should do it. I did this so I can remove cartridge and solder valve to copper. *** When putting handle back on, turn the valve either full open or close, to set correct handle position.*** The handle was still a snug fit, but I went ahead and put a dab of glue on splines to secure the handle.

Great look , but be aware...
Pay attention: "No Nut/Sleeve". Nut and sleeve from standard copper pipe pressure adapters will not fit 1/2" inlet due to non-standard thread.

Gorgeous Value
As far as a water closet inlet valve this is fancy and simple.

Not the size as described
This is not as described thread is much bigger than 1/2 “ as you can see in pics over 3/4” and inside is over 1/2 “ the old one from HD is 1/2 “ on inside and fits a 1/2 “ thread these will NOT !

Love these
Adorable and very solid; the matte black paint finish looks great. They are sized perfectly for a vanity sink.

Nice and good quality
Works well, looks nice. It’s exactly what it says it is and does exactly what it’s suppose to do.

I installed today to find out that the interior pieces are mad of plastic. I continued the installation and determined that this valve leaks water even when shut off. I immediately uninstalled and have started a return through Amazon. I originally chose this valve to match the decor in our newly renovated bathroom. This was the only black valve I could find. I will be switching back to a regular valve and will spray paint if mat black. Based off of the construction, I would not recommend. An old fashioned valve with metal interior pieces will last much longer. Don't risk it.
