Short, and works great!
Perfect product for my iPhone 5s connection in my Volvo C70. I needed a very short cord to charge my iPhone 5s from my Belkin CarAudio Connect AUX with Bluetooth, which connects from my 12v adapter to a holder for the phone. This cord is short, like only a foot at max, and it's coiled tightly. It does the job.

Too short and if you leave it in the glove box like I do, then it hardly expands at all because of the cold.

Not bad but very short.
I purchased this cord for my portable phone charger as I figured it would be perfect for just that. After testing it out, here's what I found out.Pros:-Fast Charge-Can be tucked away with no messy cords laying aroundCons:-Pricey. You can get similar cables for half the price of this one.-It's so short, that actually using my phone while it's charging is a hassle because I have to pick up the charger and the phone at the same time. I didn't account for the distance I would need from my pocket to my ear. I think a 3 foot cord would work perfect for that which I've ordered and will write a review on.-The lightning end of the cord, (not the usb end), is quite wide. I don't think StarTech took phone cases into account when designing this cord because it won't fit in a lifeproof case at all. Some cases may work, but in most cases probably not. I've attached a couple size comparison pictures to help you determine whether it will work with your phone case or not. Hope this review helps.

Deceivingly Short
These cords are deceivingly short and take way too much force to make longer. THey also dont even expand much more with the uncoiling. I have no use for something like this

Bought this to plug into the USB port in my car to avoid having wire tangled up in the console compartment, yet still be able to have some length on the connector to the phone. Works as I had hoped - - very durable wire and connecting ends.

Great for Car!
I needed a short cable for my car and came across this wonderful life saver. I couldn't stand my white chord dangling across my car deck anymore. This cable solved all my problems. It is the correct length to attach to my iPod and has enough slack for my ipod to rest against the front console.
