hi does anyone know,the label only says to remove carbon, but do you also remove the ammonia absorbent as well?

We only recommend to remove the carbon. You can leave in other types of filter media such as phosphate removers or ammonia absorbents. These will not remove the medication.

Can this be used to treat the whole tank or do i have to separate the effected fish only for treatment?

I have a 500 gallons so what I did was take the affected fish separate to treatment. So it really depends on how big your tank is.

Has anyone bought this and had the seal come off into the cap? It wasn't attached to the bottle when i removed the cap.

Anytime I've purchased API PIMAFIX it has always arrived sealed. I've never had an issue with receiving this particular item without the safety seal. If you are stating that when you attempted to remove the seal it fell into the bottle, however, I don't believe that would cause a problem with the PIMAFIX (although I would attempt to remove it with tweezers or some kind of tool). If you did in fact receive a bottle without a seal, request a new one to put yourself at ease. Simply contact Amazon and describe your issue and they'll advise you to either return or discard the product and send you a new one. Hope this helps!
