Features Benylin Children's Chesty s is a clear colourless Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •Your child is taking any other and cold medicine •Your child is aged 6 or under. •Talk to your doctor or cist if you child suffers from kidney or liver problems or if your child has a persistent such as occurs with asthma, has asthma, is suffering from an asthma attack or that produces a lot of mucus (phlegm). •If your child experiences ic reactions including (severe) skin es and or ness and , stop using the medicine and seek immediate help. •Please consult your cist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or feeding. •Please consult your cist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be ic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your cist. Product Specification Active ingredient: in 5ml of Benylin Children's Chesty s there is 50 mg of Guaifenesin Other ingredients: glycerol, sorbitol liquid (E420), carmellose sodium, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate (E211), citric monohydrate, strawberry flavour and water. Children 6-12 years: two 5ml spoonfuls four times a day. Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours. If symptoms persist or worsen, talk to your doctor or cist. Do not give to a child under 12 years of age for more than 5 days without consulting your doctor. If your childs comes back or is accompanied by a hugh temperature, or a headache that does not go away, stop using this medicine and talk to your doctor or phrmacist. Tips & Advice If your child is hot/ feverish: increase the amouint of fluid your child normally drinks. Lower their temprature with paracetamol or ibroprufen medicine as per the manufactuer guidance. For s: Although it is distressing to hear your child , in fact ing helps clear phlegm on the chest and mucus from the nose. Give your child plenty of warm clear fluids to drink.
