Excellent. Warm yellow light.
Both bulbs working perfectly. Gives off enough brightness for a 7 watt bulb. Light is a warm yellow without being too yellowish. Just go for it. Original Wipro brand too.

Good but overpriced
I bought a lamp shade that required these specific bulbs. But I feel these are overpriced but since they are difficult to find in local stores I think price commensurate with the effort required. It’s quality and longevity is good.

No heat, India assembled
Bulb is assembled in India. Apart from the plastic enclosure, all components(circuit and led diode) are china imports and assembled in Himachal. Bulb is dirty out of the box. I have also placed a pure chinese corn bulb beside for comparison. The corn bulb(18w) uses 96 5730 led diodes and the driver is a mid level design with 1pf+1cap+1controller+2resistors. This corn bulb switches on instantly as there is no transformer inside. The Wipro bulb driver needs a second to fire the diodes as it probably uses a transformer (guessing - haven't opened) design. Both the corn 18w and this 7w Wipro bulb produce the same amount of light. Why? It turns out that after a point, the led diodes when placed in a cluster design, reach a light spread threshold. I think 7-10w is the limit for cluster led bulb designs and anything more is pointless. Corn bulb is warm white but Wipro bulb is more warmer and produces the same colour as an 80w incandescent bulb does. Corn bulb gets hot and need to wait a while to touch it while Wipro bulb hardly gets Luke warm. I'm using a standing lamp where bulb is aimed at ceiling and light bounces producing difussed light covering a 10x10ft room perfectly for post 6pm mood - not intense like tube light and not dark like 15w incandescent zero bulb. Cannot comment on the life. As it has probably 5-6 components in the driver section, it might work beyond 9 months or go kaput in the first 3 months. Do not be fooled by the "15 years life" marketing given by led companies. I'm an electronic hobbyist. Take if from my mouth. If any led bulb runs for more than 9 months, I will break a coconut in its honour. Chances are 50-50.
