Do you wonder if your cat is a witch? Get this lamp!! Ours is now asking us to switch it on. (Electricity spells are, so far, out of her reach.)We have this light in the living room behind a vintage tv lamp. It's very pretty and soothing, and throws light up the wall and to the ceiling. I'm thinking about getting a second one. If you're on the fence, go for it. (Also, why are you sitting on the fence? That seems dangerous.)

This is a really awesome product for such a good price!I love how it not only have different color options, but it also have eight different brightness modes. These come in handy when you are using it as an adult or as a kid. The brightest is perfect for kids that are scared of the dark and a wall light isn't bright enough. If you put it in the middle of the room, it lights up the entire room. I also love how the colors aren't gender specific so this would work for guys and girls since there are colors both genders like.I like putting it on a desk against the wall so it doesnt light up the whole room but it still lights up the wall its by and the ceiling.The lights look like ocean waves and they actually morph while you are watching it. It is extremely soothing and has actually made me fall asleep easier and faster.Unlike other lights, this one has a speaker built in so you can play music from you iPod or cell phone, which is a nice little plus.One little thing I wish was different is how short the cord is. You'll probably need an extension cord unless it is right against the outlet. Although, this isn't that big of a problem because this product can be ran from batteries instead of the cord!

I purchased this to help my 4 year old grandson fall asleep in his new apartment. We used it and it worked nicely. He was so excited to see all the different colors and variations. It has several settings. One that kind of blinks with multiple colors, one that mixes the colors and one for each single color. We didn't have 4 double A batteries, but that wasn't a problem at all because it comes with a plug for a USB which comes in the box.It also comes with a small cord to connect a phone or mp3 so that the projector turns into a speaker.The ocean wave lights projected nicely on the ceiling. I was happy that it has an auto off feature. After one hour it shuts off on it's own. I went to check on my grandson and sure enough he was asleep and the projector shut off after an hour. We didn't leave our music plugged in, but he still enjoyed the waves of light on the ceiling of his new room. I'm sure this will be part of his bedtime regimen from now on.

***Update at end of review***There is only 1 reason for four stars and not five. I ordered two of these- one for each kid to have as a nightlight. One arrived with no cords, so it was totally unusable. We plugged the other in, and it was so beautiful and calming. It would have soothed everyone right to sleep, except for the fact that they now had to fight over who got to use it. If you don’t mind the potential inconvenience of having to send it back because it’s missing crucial parts, this nightlight is for you.Update:Got my replacement today- it is also missing all the cables. Very frustrated. Taking away more stars.Update 2Emailed company because they say they have “100% satisfaction guarantee”. It is a lie. They emailed me back saying I can re order the product. I emailed that I can’t get the same sale price ($20 vs $30). They also said it is not unusal for the product to come without cables. Terrible customer service by abco.

This is a small, bowl shaped light, about the same as a cappuccino mug. It comes with a outlet-to-USB adapter, a USB to female power cable that attaches to the light, and a headphone-style audio male to male cable for connecting the device to a Bluetooth speaker. No instructions.Inside the bowl are an RGB LED array and above them a plastic lens attached to a pin on a rotating gear; the lens is wavy transparent plastic with some scratches on it. The top of the light is a clear lid made of the same wavy plastic of variable thickness, although it isn't scratched like the lens is. As the gear rotates the lens slowly moves back and forth over the lights, like someone swirling a saucepan over a burner. So as the lens moves the LED light is scattered into a circular wave pattern by the lens and then scattered a bit more through the lid and the effect is the wave like pattern you see in the picture.The base of the light has three unlabeled buttons and the two aforementioned connection points. There's also a set of perforations that indicates that this object has a speaker in it, although I haven't tried it so I can't say if it's any less awful than I would expect it to be, as an add on to a cheap novelty light. There's only so far I'm willing to go in the name of science and good community reviewing.I can't see anything false in the description or presentation of the object, but it's way grandiose. The design's simple and ingenious and should work better than it does, but there's a slight jitter at two points in the rotation of the lens that is just enough to spoil the wavelike effect of the light: it's a barely perceptible movement at the level of the lens, but projected onto the ceiling the 'waves' suddenly jump a couple inches forward. It bothers me a little bit; I can really see it distracting a lot of people who are hoping for something a little more natural.It's not horrible, but if you're looking to pamper yourself a little, this ain't it.

I purchased the Ocean Wave Light Projector for my kids to utilize as a night light to help save on costs and because it has speaker capabilities. They love the fact that they can plug up their tablet and pick the music to fall asleep to! It has the automatic turn off after about an hour which is great to help on energy consumption and cost. The light is LED so I would recommend making sure anyone doesn't look at the light directly and to situate the light elevated where kids can't easily look down into it. It has four color modes red, green, blue and multicolor. Speaker can be utilized with provided audio cord. We love the way it looks on the ceiling and walls. No issues and good quality product.

I purchased this light as a gift for my Girlfriend for when we like to sit back and relax. It definitely sets a calming yet romantic atmosphere in a dimly lit room.However there are some problems. I don't know if the product is defective or not but the light randomly decides to jitter from time to time.. It can get annoying once you notice it. The speaker is also quite weak and distorted when volume reached the highest spectrum! (However I bought it for the light, not audio)The plastic build also seems quite fragile FYI.Besides the occasional jitter in movement, it gets the job of setting of setting the atmosphere

Really beautiful and wonder lights. But there is one problem. The small motor that makes the light move is jerky and it really bothers me and makes it feel much less relaxing. I have a feeling that perhaps this is only a problem in my particular unit, if the moving lights were projected smoothly I would give this unit 5 stars. I was able to detach the lens from the motor so the lights stay still, which i find much better. Also I wish I could disable to one hour shut off time.

It was great when it worked, however after 3 days the light got very "snappy" and wasn't at all smooth. Very noticeable and ruined the product for me. Then the cable pretty much fell apart and stopped working all together. The speakers are also unbearable, zero bass, very muffled and quiet. I can't think of any reason so use the speakers if you have a phone.Overall, cheap build and flawed product. I would recommend getting another projector over this one.

Was working for 7 days, 8th day no longer is working. When it did work it did give a nice effect. However it is very bright for our room (12ft by 14ft) and keeps he baby awake (what it was attended for). I will say the motor is amazingly quiet. It has a helpful pre-shut off after 2 hrs or so. I was unable to connect my ipod to test the speaker as the product is no longer working in less than 8 days!Waiting for a reply from seller.

I did not receive any incentives for this review. It's a great light.We have a living room with a very high ceiling and this light casts a beautiful glow of colours. We don't use the audio feature so I can't comment on it. We only put the light on if we sit down to watch some tv at night. It creates a very tranquil environment for relaxing before going to bed.
