H&C Indigo Powder (Indigofera Tinctoria) - 227g Pack | For Hair Coloring

the product is great. I mixed 1/3 henna with 2/3 indigo. the result was a medium dark brown. darker than average, the effect in the photos is after two washes. The method of application and the whole procedure seem complicated, but in fact it is super simple. the hair is really nourished and in great condition. No hair fell out during application. I have never had such nourished hair after dyeing, and this is only the first use.

I've been dyeing my hair with this indigo in a special recipe for over a year, and it works really well! It covers the reddish hue coming from henna perfectly, and it just feels so much safer to use more natural ingredients on my body. I’m super happy with the results!

Was really scared to use this as I have had really bad allergic reactions to hair dyes landing me in hospital. Mixed henna with tea infused water. Let it sit for 5 hours. Applied and left for two hours then washed with water only. Result is the first photo - orange hair. Really cooling and soothing to the scalp. The next day I mixed the indigo with tea infused water and let it sit for an hour. Applied and left for two hours and washed with clear water. A little harder to apply. Results are second photo. Good coverage albeit lighter on the grey. Next time I will allow indigo mix to sit for longer and apply it for longer. In natural light my hair looked very orange. I mixed 1 part henna to 2 parts indigo and left it for 4 hours and applied and left on for three hours. Seems darker but some of the grey isn't taking on the indigo albeit they've had the henna only application.

This is a good product. Unfortunately, some reviews do not understand that indigo herb is green. This is green You mix it with water for dyeing hair. It must be applied over previously hennaed hair. It darkens as it oxidised, creating blackish tints over the red henna It is not a suitable dyestuff for fabric. You have to make a reduction vat for fabric. When people refer to indigo being a blue powder, that is not indigo herb. That is chemically processed indigo dye. This works absolutely fine on my previously indigoed hair. I've also used it to make a reduction vat with fructose to dye fabric. Worked fine then, too.

I ordered the 1kg bag of indigo as I am a regular user of indigo and felt this was good value for money. However, unfortunately this was not the case as it has just been a waste of money and time. I have been doing the 2 step henna & Indigo method for a number of years and always get jet black coverage which is permanent. However upon using this product with the henna from the same brand, I only get a dark brown shade, which also starts to fade after each wash. To give it a fair review I did give this a go a few times, but I got the same result each time. As a result, I missed the return window. Not only is this a complete waste of my time (the process of henna and indigo is consuming and then for it not to work is disheartening), it is a waste of money and more importantly I have no idea of the quality of the ingredients I am putting in my hair, which is worrying especially for someone who chooses not to use chemical dyes. Maybe I got a bad batch, but it's not worth the risk or effort of re-purchasing.

I mixed the henna and indigo 50:50, added lemon juice to it to enhance the colour and it covers the grey hair well. I have a lot of grey hair and it gives them an auburn colour. It takes about an hour for me to apply the paste to my hair and I left it there for three hours. The photo was taken after I washed the paste away with just water. You will need to apply coconut/ olive oil to your hair over night before shampooing it off in order to give the hair moisture and lock the colour in for long lasting results. It saves me so much money comparing to going to a salon to dye my hair. It’s natural as well, so I don’t have to worry about chemicals touching my skin. Absolutely loving it!

I like the quality, size and price of H&C Henna. The Indigo has some hard bits in it that will not separate, but that is not a big deal. It's possible this Indigo fades away faster than another brand I used. I would buy again.

Je suis franchement surprise. c'est un très bon henné. J'ai acheté ce lot de poudre pour teindre mes cheveux blancs qui sont assez nombreux sur le devant de la tête. Et qu'elle surprise de constater que le Henné les a colorés et a donné une teinte harmonieuse à l'ensemble de ma chevelure. je n'ai pas eu besoin d'utiliser la poudre indigo. Pour une grande facilité de coloration, j'ai mélangé le henné une fois le temps de pause écoulé avec de l'après shampoing et du miel, puis laissé sur ma tête agir pendant toute la nuit. Je précise que j'ai des cheveux forts, épais et crépus.

Adoro questo hennè! La polvere è finissima quindi colora perfettamente fin dalla radice, ha una consistenza che assomiglia un po' ad un gel e dunque si applica davvero facilmente e il prodotto non cola. Prima ne usavo un altro e non essendo molto pratica dell' hennè pensavo che tutti gli hennè fossero difficili da applicare e in più i risultati erano mediocri. Ora che ho trovato questo prodotto è cambiato tutto e fare le hennate è diventato facile e veloce e il risultato è perfetto!

Hochwertiges natürliches Produkt. Es ist sehr fein gemahlen, wodurch eine homogene Mischung (mit Henna vom gleichen Hersteller) entsteht, die sich leicht auf das Haar auftragen lässt. Wer bereits mit Henna und Indigo gefärbt hat, wird die hohe Qualität dieses Produkts zu schätzen wissen.

It has a very strong odour of indigo leaves. Otherwise looks like it worked very well on my hair. No reaction on skin. Absolutely natural. But anyone who dislikes smell, has to mix it with henna to reduce the smell. Quality and quantity both good
