Best foot rest you can get
I've had this for about 4 years and it works great. It is the only footrest you'll find that goes to a full 6.25" in height, so if you are 5'3" or shorter, a standard footrest probably is not going to be high enough for you. If you are taller than about 5'7", you could probably get a standard foot rest. This one is very solid, and while the height is not easy to adjust, I have needed to adjust it exactly one time--when I took it out of the box--unless your height fluctuates from day to day you'll never have to change it.

Great for Short People at Desk
For a 5 ft female who needs to sit high at her desk , this is the perfect fit and becuz I have a home office where I conduct my business, I can sit barefooted and massage them as well, change positioning with the flex of the footrest...very nice addition to my office ...

looks nice, but wobbly
I had this footrest at work (got it for free) and honestly I never used it after about a week. The platform itself feels pretty wobbly (although the base is stable). Adjusting it is also kind of difficult. The little ribs on the top feel nice on your bare feet. But with shoes, maybe a flat platform would feel nicer. I'm 5'9 and 200 lbs. I have shorter legs though (inseam 30") so this product was recommended for me given my desk height. I feel the platform was very thin. So if you are a guy who likes to sit with a little space in between your legs for well..male reasons. This isn't that great of a footrest. Sadly I cannot recommend this product. It looks nice, but what it's made for. Just doesn't do the job very well.~G

Very comfy
Getting it into the perfect place was annoying. But once that was done I liked the comfort of it.

mine broke too
I liked this footrest, but my experience was similar to other reviews. The plastic underneath cracked after a few months and i had to find something to prop it up to stay in place
