Conceal Correct Contour Palette - Medium

I love the formula of this color corrector pallette! It's creaminess is similar to a balm stick formula. It's lightweight and it doesn't get dry and cakey. The skin stays supple underneath, and if you naturally get oil there, you can set it with a thin layer of setting or finishing powder before concealer. It does well under concealer and foundation. I am 62 years old and I have olive skin, so I found the yellow works best for my blue/purple under eye circles vs. the peach colors. Again I have olive skin, so obviously I can't attest for which color best corrects any other skin undertone. The formula is buildable if you choose or you can just go for it. I have wrinky under eye bags, so I build it with thin layers under the eye, and the yellow happens to brighten, which is quite a necessity for me! 😅 I also use the yellow to lighten up any shadowing with a thin eyeliner brush in the deepest shadow of my smile lines and mouth corners and in the shadow of an indented scar at the brow. It's tricky there and it took experimentation and practice but I've finally gotten the hang of it. 🙂 I can't say it removes the lines and wrinkles on my ageing skin, but the color and brightening make a significant improvement, and I certainly can't expect miracles at 62! 😂 Fortunately, I wear glasses. 😉I do like the pallette form because it's much cheaper to have all the color choices together than getting each one in a separate tube. Additionally, it's just the right amount of product for me personally, and I have actually used every color in this pallette in one way or another. I couldn't be more happy and I highly recommend!! 🙂

I used these after a surgical procedure and they are fabulous! I sent back the expensive ones I bought because this applied better, performed superior, and lasted. Blendable and buildable! I was very surprised but thrilled!

It's overall a pretty good product, its is well pigmented and really creamy. I took off one star because I have dry skin and this product is not the best for that skin type, especially for your under-eyes, it gets hard to blend and starts tugging at my skin. I'd rather just use a liquid color corrector. I did like that you get 6 shades in one, however if you don't think you'd use all of them, it's kind of a waste. I didn't end up touching the yellow or bright red shades. So overall a good color corrector, but not worth to go out of your way to buy.

I'm giving the fair skin tone palette one star and the colorful palette gets four stars. I bought the palette with the different colors like green, purple, yellow, and pink and it was great, I ended using all of the pink. The green is too blue to effectively neutralize redness in my (very pale) skin, but the pink, yellow, and peach were excellent to neutralize purple/ blue dark undereye circles, and even provided decent cover up for red blemishes, so I could apply a regular concealer over the top. I came to Amazon to buy another palette because my makeup store in town was out and found that Nyx had one in skin tones! So I bought the fair palette and I've used it a few times. The consistency difference between the skin tone and the colorful is pretty big. The colorful one is very creamy and applies nicely with a brush or fingertips. The skin tone palette is much less creamy, more dry and difficult to pick up and sheer out with makeup tools. On top of that, I could only use one or two of the colors, so most of the palette just sits wasted drying out even more. I'd stick to the colorful palette and skip the skin tones entirely. At least until they change their formula.

Love this! The one that matches my skin-tone hides my acne incredibly well. I feel confident wearing this product.

I was skeptical but had seen positive reviews on this color corrector/concealer and was pleasantly surprised. I have medium colored skin but dark under eye circles (not from lack of sleep) and dark eyelids which makes me look like I have raccoon eyes and any eye shadow look muddy. This product did a great job of correcting the color then I used my regular Lancome concealer over it. It looked great. I'm really happy with it. The price is great too.

Not only am I 44 with fine lines and wrinkles, I also have a lot of discoloration on my skin from scars, sun spots, and discoloration. Usually when I try to cover this, I never can! Also from trying to cover and can’t, it makes make-up look horrible on me. This is the only makeup that almost covers everything and also makes my skin texture look smooth. This is the only makeup that looks some what natural and being it’s build able…. It will cover fine lines and wrinkles to a degree. Its effectiveness is like no other affordable make up I know. I love u NYX! Thanks for making this fabulous makeup affordable

If you have come across this review and know how to use color corrector concealer then the first part is for you. If you are someone that has come across this review and are wondering what on earth these crazy colors are used for, then you will want to read to the end.PLEASE NOTE: I have fair-light skin so my review and advice is based on how it works for my skin tone.I have a pretty even skin tone, but I do get Botox. From time to time I am left with slight bruising or red marks. Covering those was my main motivation to purchase.I really love the size and color variety of the compact. It fits perfectly in my case and I don’t need to take with me multiple concealers. In a warmer environment/when the product is warm, it mixes really well. I am even able to mix it into my everyday concealer. The product is very heavy and thick so a little is all you need. It definitely stays put and even at the end of the day everything is in place.I like the thick creamy consistency for covering bruises, injection sites, scars, zits etc. But I really struggled with it when it came to under my eyes. No matter how little I used and how much I blended it out, it never sat right. It sits in wrinkles and lines I didn’t even know existed! My skin type is ‘normal’ but it made my under eyes look very cakey and dry.It is my holy grail for covering minor imperfections. I can create a layered color most of the time and eliminate needing my regular concealer for those areas.I am not an everyday foundation wearer and this product hasn’t required me to become one. It does the job!It would have been a bonus if it had worked under my eyes. However for what I purchased it for it works fantastic! So if you are someone that sees these crazy palettes with orange and purple and take off running to grab the concealer in you shade…the rest of this review is for you.Color correctors really aren’t as daunting as they look. With a bit of practice, they will become one of the most important pieces in your make-up case.So how do they work? Well each of those crazy colors has opposites. Remember the color wheel in art class? When you use the two opposite colors together you neutralize them.We all want to have that perfect flawless skin, but most of us don’t. Have you put your concealer under your eyes and no matter how much you have applied you still look like you have purple bruises under them? That is because your concealer matches your skin tone, which isn’t your usual skin tone in that area. Fear not! We can solve the problem. We neutralize those imperfections. Once you do that you have an even-toned surface to apply your skin-colored concealer.Red zits staring at you despite layers of concealer? Not a problem, neutralize those with the green. Under-eyes look sallow, purple, and sunken in? Brighten those up with yellow. Look at whatever you want to hide on your face and pay attention to the color, then you can use the right shade to neutralize the issue. If you are unsure exactly what color to neutralize, experiment. Not sure if it’s purple or blue? Then try a thin layer of yellow corrector in one area and orange in the other. Make sure you blend it out well and then apply your concealer over the top. You can then see which looks the best. If you need to, mix the colors! The color that people see the most but fear the most is that dreaded green! You hear that’s what you should use to cover up that glowing red zit that appeared overnight, but when you have done so you are left with an even uglier green mark on your face. No matter how much concealer you put over it, the color still doesn’t look right it looks green. It may seem like an impossible fix but it is a really easy one to solve. The first tip is less is more. Start with a really small amount. You are trying to neutralize the red> Remember your skin is still going to look green. However, we want a HINT of green not full-blown Halloween makeup. If in doubt, blend out more. You may think you have blended it out enough but a lot of the time that isn’t the case. Start with a really tiny amount and work up if needed. Then you can go ahead and place your normal concealer over the top. It is possible to do it the other way around but much more tricky. My favorite (and much easier method if the product is workable) is to mix the green with your everyday concealer. The goal is to make it look like your regular concealer but with just a slight hint of green. Once applied the green and the red will neutralize and it will look just like your skin-colored concealer

It looked like a good buy but after using don’t find it worth it as only few of shades seems to work .. concealer doesn’t do the job when compared to other concealers .. may be one or two of the entire pallet is fine

Coverage is very good.

The pigment is not as strong. Corrects only lightly
