Built to be used. Got this for my hubby. He has used it well over 100 times now. Still looks brand new. It's definitely a investment peice for Artisans, price wise. It's worth the money.

this is a great product, well made and sturdy. I found holding the iron steady and getting a full brand was difficult, I removed the handle and put it in my drill press, this gave flat full brands and it was easier to control pressure on the iron.

Hard to get the brand even

Completely satisfied with my purchase. It took a little practice at first but it works great. Works better indoors as there is stable temperature. I am sure the electric power is easier to get a consistent temperature. I would recommend to anyone.
