Beautiful pictures and a great story for young children.

A nice book with Laura’s story, simplified for younger readers. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful! I wish I’d have ordered it new instead of used. The condition wasn’t quite as described, but overall, I’m very happy to have the book to share her story with my grandchildren.

Good book but is more for a child. The print is large and it's very short. It's more of a summary of Laura Ingalls Wilder's life. I thought it was going to be a full size book like her other stories..for me that part was a disappointment.

Good for younger readers, it's a short version of the full story of Laura's Ingalls wilder life, easy reader for six to seven year old, I enjoyed reading it and I am now passing it on to my six year old granddaughter, if you love little house on the parie as much as I do and querious about the Ingalls girls and don't want to read the novel,then this short story is for you.

Just an FYI, this is NOT the autobiography of the same title "Pioneer Gilrl" By Laura Ingalls Wilder. I didn't look closely and ordered this children's book by mistake. It's a lovely book. The pictures and colors are beautiful, well written, historically accurate. As a child, I read all of the Little House books and this one would be good for younger children as a precursor to the series. A child's life could only be made richer by having read the stories of this family. But at the age of 46, I'm a little past it. I will donate it or give it as a gift.

Great book, a lot to learn from this book that many may not know from the Little House series. Great book and decent price! Great gift!

It was an excerpt of the real book. But I wanted to read the real book. The one Laura wrote herself. Who wants to read a thin version of a book.
