Satisfied Customer
Hot peppers are EXTREMELY slow growers, so be patient. This is quite pricey consider the amount of seeds you get, but it's worth it. Although I had planted these in less than ideal soil, I got 100+ good Reapers last summer.

Here we go!
6 out of 12. Not bad. Took a while to start growing but thatโs just how it is. As long as I get germination then itโs all good. Would recommend.

0% Germination Rate
None of these seeds germinated. I had attempted to germinate half (in soil) using a germinator and the other half using the wet paper towel method. After several weeks, not one seed had germinated. The seller did respond to my complaint and sort of alluded to he would send replacement seeds. No replacement came. Unfortunately, I waited too long for them to germinate before trying to get my money back from Amazon, so just chalking it up to a lesson learned. I do not recommend this seller.

Sprouted quickly at 80F
Planted 4 Reapers and 4 Ghost. The Reapers sprouted quickly with a heat mat. So far, so good. I'll update this review come harvest.

Good seeds, just very, very slow to grow. Be very patient.
I have to change my review, I was not happy with the germination rate of these seeds at first but wow, I completely underestimated the germination time. They took several weeks longer than my chocolate ghost peppers. They took forever to germinate with a heating pad and germination pod. I planted the seeds, as I do with all my peppers. Watered, heating pad, grow lights, you name it. I have 90+ percent germination rate this way. I planted these, and nothing after a month. The other pepper seeds on the other side of the germination pod were 2 inches. I removed the seedlings and replanted other chili seeds. When those were about 2 inches tall about 4-5 week later, the Reapers just barely started poking up through the dirt and were 1/4" tall. Now out of 6 seeds, I have 4 very happy healthy plants about 6 inches tall. Buyer beware, they are very picky to germinate, and take forever to sprout. But honestly what the hell do I need 4 of these plants for?

The "10" pepper seeds sprouted
Packet came with 10.5 seeds (1 seed looked abnormal and didn't sprout). The 10 seeds sprouted well between day 9 and 11. I'm in zone 13 and took it for granted that my climate was always ideal, however, shortly after they sprouted we had unprecedented cool weather and despite taking the plants inside, I lost 8 of them. The remaining 2 are thriving well now that the weather has normalised. I gave it 5 stars because they sprouted as they should, but I won't buy this again because paying $7 for literally 10 pepper seeds was wild. I bought it in rush and didn't even see the quantity.

2/10
Only 2/10 of the seeds germinated. Theyโre only about an inch and a half tall right now. Iโm happy at least 2 of them germinated but that doesnโt justify the price. I get it though, there arenโt many options for purchasing reaper seeds.

So Far so good
I have not been able to grow them yet as it is out of season, but the seeds look great, they came quickly, labeled clearly... amd as it's been difficult to find quality seeds, these have really good reviews on their germination. Great value if you're into really really spicy, and hopefully with my new hydroponics setup these seeds will be bountiful this season.

Disappointing Carolina Reaper Seeds on Amazon
In September 2023 I purchased Carolina Reaper seeds from Amazon with high hopes of cultivating the world's hottest pepper. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of the promised experience. Upon germination, it became evident that the plants did not exhibit the distinctive characteristics of Carolina Reaper peppers. The pods lacked the expected wrinkled texture and vibrant red color, casting doubt on the authenticity of the seeds. Images and a video to showcase the stark differences between the advertised Carolina Reapers and the actual outcome. The video highlights the discrepancies in appearance, size, and spiciness when compared to genuine Carolina Reaper peppers. It's disheartening to invest time and effort into cultivating peppers that don't live up to their advertised pedigree. I urge fellow buyers to exercise caution when purchasing seeds on Amazon and consider sourcing from reputable sellers with proven track records. Overall, a disappointing experience that serves as a reminder to thoroughly research and vet seed suppliers before making purchases, especially when aiming for specific and sought-after varieties like the Carolina Reaper.

All seeds germinated.
All seeds planted have germinated thus far. Plants seem healthy. Will be looking to get more as soon as they are ready to deliver.

Pepper seeds turned out to be seeds of some weeds. Not one seed out of 50 germinated
ZERO Germination of seeds received. Tried in Batches.

Is it truely carolina reaper variant?
Package received on time. However, nothing mentioned about seed variants ( only mentioned chilli , not mentioned Carolina Reaper the item I ordered for). Seeds looks good.
