Q: will this work with a 1.5 Hp pool pump?

Do not risk using a $13 timer on an expensive pool pump. The timer will probably melt and the pump might get shorted out. Don't cheap out, get something real and not cheap.

Q: The 1875 watt max rating, is that per outlet ot combined?

I think standard splitters/adapters (with or without timers), are typically limited to 15A/1875W, and the outlet they're plugged into limited to 15-20A.

Q: Can this be used with a space heater?

Its max limit is 15 amps. So maybe it would be OK for a very small space heater. I wouldn't recommend it for that. It's heavy duty in the sense that it's rugged and can be used outside. Would be great for Christmas lights.

Q: Can I program multiple on/off times per day? For example, can I set it to turn on a pump every 3 hours?

You can set 8 different programs so the answer to your question is yes. 8 X 3 = 24 hours.
