RETRO ALUMINUM TUMBLERS NON BREAKABLE CUPS SET OF 6

Grew up in the 60's and 70's and my Grandmother had similar glasses. Her's were a different brand than these were modeled after but this is close enough to take me back. Some on here are claiming these glasses will keep drinks warm or cold, they will not. These are not thermal tumblers, they are single walled just like the old days. Aluminum is a very good conductor of temperature hot or cold, what these will do is transfer the temperature of what's inside to your hand instantly. They may even make your drink reach room temperature faster. The glasses are the same metal thickness as what Grandma had, seem of good quality. Filled to the rim they hold 16 ounces. On a side note these are not dishwasher safe, you never want to put anything aluminum in a dishwasher, all dishwasher detergent is very corrosive.

Beware of the pictures, you are only buying cups..... a bit deceptive. Read description above the pic, that's what you will get. The quality is good, no complaints however, other vendors on Amazon sell exactly the same items for quite a bit less!

I only have one negative comment about this product the cups were a little bit smaller than I expected. Overall this is a good buy!

When I saw this online the tumblers and the bowls and the pitcher were all in one group. I thought this was what I was getting. I thought they might be a cheaper grade but that it was a good deal. My suprise came when I received only the tumblers. Under the product discription it discrebes all items, I think I should have received all items. If you are sellings tumblers then that is what should be in the pic. I really did not want the pitcher but was looking foward to the bowls and tumblers for the grand kids. This item is a good example of buyer be ware. I sent an email about this to the seller, all I got was a thank you for buying are product. So don't expect this ad to change. Buyer Be WARE. Perhaps I should have read this ad better. Maybe I am an old fool but I do learn new tricks and will not be buying anything else from this seller. But I must say the tumblers I rec are just what I wanted colors are good size is right, am disapointed that I did not rec what I thought I was getting

These are great! I had picked up a few at a restaurant last summer and when I went back for more they didn't have them. These are great gifts, I give them to my neighbors for pet sitting and they love having them for their afternoon drinks. They look great, take me back to my youth. Only thing, be careful and hand wash them, they do not go in the dishwasher. I ruined one, it looked scraped after it came out of the dishwasher.

grew up using these kind of cups and loved them. bought these and didn't really pay attention to the "can be washed by hand", anything can be washed by hand. it should have read "do not put in dishwasher is you want the color to stay. shipped with no wash by hand warning and so i put them in dishwasher. cups now look like they're 25 yrs old...the colors are splotchy and come off with a damp paper towel...hopefully still safe to drink out of. still keep drinks ice cold though, but they really need to do a better job with the color and warning to hand wash or just make them with no color

These cups certainly keep drinks cold, and I love the colours. Sadly, one cup was dented on arrival and another had a scratch on the inside. I'm already noticing some loss of the colour coating around the lip of the cup I use everyday (I chose to use the dented cup and keep the undamaged ones for guests). I bought these cups because I have fond memories of the ones we used at family picnics when I was a child; there is something about their shiny, bright colours that reminds me of Christmas decorations. Very nostalgic. And being unbreakable is a bonus.

Personal use. Xmas present for my wife. Retro glasses from her childhood spent at great grammas house in 1960!!
