Amazing quality Convertible Car Seat!!
This is my first experience with a Britax product; that being said, we love this car seat!! I am a Grandma who watches my 13 month old Grandson daily. I need to have my own car seat in our vehicle so we don't have to drag my daughter's car seat in and out of her car every day. I originally ordered another car seat that wasn't as expensive as this one. The first seat, which was another convertible Car Seat, by another manufacture, had straps which weren't long enough to fit around my Grandson. It would pinch is legs and leave red marks. He's just over a year old, weighs 27 pounds, that shouldn't be a problem with a child that age. I guess you get what you pay for. So, I returned that seat. I really didn't want to spend $300 plus for a extra seat! So I did a lot of research on which seat would not break the bank, be large enough to fit him, while still keeping him rear facing, take up the least amount of space in my Acura TLZ, while providing him comfort, be a quality product, have an excellent safety record and be fairly easy to secure him in and out of the seat. This car seat is everything that it proclaims to be! I went with the Roundabout model. While it is the bottom of their line of car seats, the next one up, is the Marathon model. From the research I did online and by taking him to a store, having him sit in the Marathon, (as they didn't carry the Roundabout model at the retailer I visited) the only difference I could find between the two different models is the amount of extra padding. For a 1 year old you don't need all the thick pillow like padding, which is to help secure their heads when they're younger. He doesn't need all that extra fluff. I went ahead and went with this lower priced model and it's beautiful, the fabric is soft and comfortable (I went with the Onyx fabric cover). He fit's in it perfectly, with plenty of room for growth. As we plan on keeping him rear facing as long as possible. If you use the latch anchors to secure it in your vehicle, it's very easy to install. I totally love that it has the velcro tabs that keep the straps out of the way when placing him in the seat. No more digging them out from under him! It's also easy to get him out of, which is a definite plus! It doesn't come with cup holders which is fine, his seat in his mothers car has cup holders and he broke one off right away, and usually, when he has his cup or bottle just pitches it on the seat or the floor! So that's not even a needed option. You can however order one from Britax for a few dollars. I also love that this seat doesn't take up a lot of room in our Acura. My husband is tall and still has plenty of room to move his seat back. The seat has 3 recline positions. It has a sticker with a line that must be parallel with the ground. I did have to roll a towel up and place under seat to level it out, due to the way my vehicles rear seats are; you don't even notice that its there. The fabric seems like it will be fairly easy to remove if washing is required. So bottom line for around $140 this is a great, quality carseat for any baby or toddler. I will never buy any other brand car seat than Britax.

Best seat for the money!
I purchased this seat as a seccond carseat so my mother and husband could switch it between their cars to pick up our 3 year old from pre k. I first bought the saftey 1st grow and go EX Air because of its 50 lb weight limit for rear facing. We want to keep our son rear facing as long as possible and 50 lbs was the top rated weight limit for rear facing as I could find. Well the saftey first was very disappointing. I took it back to babies r us the same day I bought it. The latch anchors would not tighten enough for the seat to be secure in the car. Their carseat tech couldn't make the saftey 1st seat latch work either. I quickly looked on amazon and found this seat. It was les expensive than the Saftey 1st goes up to 40 lbs rear facing, which most seats do, and has a much higher quality latches, I believe all Britax have, but the Saftey 1st didnt. This seat is a base model but, I am very happy with it. It installs quickly and very secuerly. My 3 year old has plenty of room. Changing the straps to higher levels is very easy the cover in silver is very nice and looks like it will wipe clean inbetween washing. I feel so much safer with this seat than the other I purchased. He also has been riding in the advocate we purchased in 2014 and he is equally conformable in both. The advocate has more side impact and head support for younger children. But, I would be happy to use this seat with a Newborn on up with the seat cushon/ pillow they provide. For the price, quality, and safety this is the best seat on the market!

Easy to use and toddler-approved
Purchased this as a backup and travel car seat for our toddler. Actually, I purchased several car seats including Cosco Seneca, Evenflo Tribute, Britax Marathon, a Diono something or other, and a Safety First Guide 65. The Britax Roundabout fit the best out of all the car seats I purchased in my husband's Audi A3 sportback. Our "regular" car seat is a Nuna Rava that fits great in my giant SUV. It does not fit in my husband's sportmobile. I put regular in quotes because the Britax fit so well and our toddler actually likes riding in it so much that we use this car seat on an almost-daily basis now. I was originally on the search for a car seat that would be easy to travel with. The Nuna Rava is ... a beast. So I started by searching for lighter-weight car seats, which led me to the list of returned-purchases above. The Britax Roundabout weighs 17 pounds, so it's definitely not the lightest car seat option. However, because I also needed the secondary car seat to fit in my husband's car, the Roundabout won out. It is easy to adjust for both rear-and-forward facing, and the Latch system makes installation easy. If you need to install using a seat belt, that's easy, too. Even in the sportmobile. The Roundabout also features low sides, which are helpful in getting the toddler in and out of seat and car. Re-threading the straps on the car seat is intuitive and easy. I've flown with this car seat installed in tiny economy on domestic and international flights and it fits great, both rear-facing (with room for the passenger in front to recline their seat) and forward-facing. No issues with getting it down airplane aisles and into seats. The kiddo is happy riding in her own seat on the plane. It's also easy to install in a variety of vehicles, from small (damn sportmobile) to mini-van. And finally, we've had more than one occasion to take the cover off of this thing and wash it. I've only air dried the cover. It's easy to remove and replace. Overall, this is a great car seat and I'm a little disappointed I didn't discover it sooner. I have not used this to transport an infant so I cannot speak to its use for a child smaller than 25 inches and 15 pounds.

El auto asiento es muy seguro y fácil de instalar en el coche. No se mueve nada una vez instalado.
