Apollo Programmable Alpha Pager AL–924 / AF–924

The AL924 works well overall - great battery life. Decent LCD, good backlight, strong vibration, loud beeper. They're easy to program by hand or with Apollo's AL924 Windows application using AC5678 PW. These have been excellent for the few commercial and amateur POCSAG applications I have personally used them in, and should also be great for those who still have traditional contract paging coverage in this band.
