Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Ultimate Edition - Xbox One [Digital Code]

I'm at almost 200 hours into the game, on level 80, and still love it. Easy game play and it seems like there is always more beyond the main story line.

Super easy to download.Absolutely awesome!!! I love this game so much!!! I have a couple of the other games(I haven’t play all the games) and of the ones I’ve played this is by far my favorite. I normally play RPGs and I have a couple open world games and this is the perfect combination of both. There’s enough story to keep you interested but there are a ton of side quests for those who just want to do their own thing. I also liked how you could easily switch between quest and that it gives you a level estimation so you can tell before you start if you will be over your head. The game play is also very smooth. I like that’s it’s easy to control and the camera is not clunky.

I have played many of this series on XBOX. The graphics on this for some reason are very distorting on the eyes. I played all the others, for hours on end, but Odyssey, for some reason, After playing for a half hour, but eyes and head hurt. Not sure what's going on with this edition but stopped playing after a few times.

I am new to Assassin's Creed so am learning all the mechanics of game play but I am truly enjoying this very immersive game. I'm only at level 9 so am still a newbie but the first time I battled a Captain of the Guard who was a level above me and I shot him w/ an arrow only to see it bounce off him and basically piss him off I knew I was in for it. I had placed "myself" high on a cliff and crouched and waited for him to come up. And come up he did...MAD! But I waited for him and the moment he climbed to the top I Spartan kicked his a** and off he flew off the cliff...to his death! Is that awesome or what?! I love this game & the 4K graphics are great!!

One of the best AC games to date. As always, the story is great. The parkour system is improved and allows me to climb pretty much anything. I am also really enjoying the side quests a lot, which have allowed me to level up pretty quick and keep enough coin flowing to also upgrade my equipment. Exploring ancient Greece is awesome, and sailing around pillaging ships like a pirate is also pretty darn fun.

Fun game so far. I have not logged too many hours yet but the time spent has been fun. Huge map. Mechanics and style of game are very similar to Origins, which is a good thing. The series needed a bit of a refresh and Origins was great and this game is up that same vein. If you liked Origins and did not get too burned out on it, this would be a good purchase as well.

Watered down Origins. It is easy to tell they didn’t invent the engine they’re using. I love the added RPG elements, but the world feels lifeless. There’s only 5 animals you run into in the wild: bears, lions, moose, goats, and wolfs. In citys there’s dogs, pigs, and horses. That’s it. No birds. No crocodiles. Nothing. Even in cities it feels dead. People just stand there. Nothing like origins, where people would travel from store to store, house to house, or city to city.The ship combat is enjoyable. It’s a nice addition, but I miss the missions where you could sneak up on the boats and stealth kill everyone. Yes, you can still board and kill people on other ship, you just have to beat them down like in 3 and black flags, no stealth.Hay bales are gone. A stable since the first game, gone, replace by rose bush’s for jumping from sync points (your character immediately gets out of them, no hiding in them allowed). Not really sure if I care that they’re gone, but it definitely shows how this developer feels about staying true to the series cores.

This game brings everything I loved about Origins and makes them better with the new dialog/choice/mercenary system. Absolutely beautiful in 4k and good performance on the 1X, the water just looks stunning and the ship exploration/combat scratches an itch which I didn't know I had until I played AC Black Flag.
