This little shovel and pick are a perfect asset for camping or anything else!I find it very useful.. only drawback, at least on my item is it seems a little wobbly, but still very functional.I'd recommend it for sure.

Nice product but a lot smaller than I expected. More of a small garden spade size than a shovel but it will do camping out. Can pack it up in small space until needed.

This is a camping shovel. The design is great for that with one important flaw: the threads used to screw the handle to the shaft are too fine. When I first assembled it, it went on at an angle and started grinding down the threads. I didn't realize until it was a third of the way on and starting to get stuck. I unscrewed it and managed to screw it back together again. You have to be very careful to avoid that. I think for campers, who need to take this apart and put it back together again at least once per day on a trip, this is a fatal flaw. It's absolutely possible to improve in the next production: just adjust the thickness of the threads.I don't need or use the compass. I'm not confident in its reading. The company should just couple-check those are coming out of manufacturing okay.Personally I'm going to use the shovel for a little gardening. And I'll add it to my emergency earthquake kit. I don't camp very often (like once every ten years), so this shovel will probably be fine for me. I'll just leave it assembled.

This is not a folding spade. This. is a child's toy, and is just that usefull

This item doesn’t lock in place. All settings it shows are fake since it can’t be locked in place ! It is Useless junk !!!
