KiNSMART - 1967 Volkswagen Classic Beetle 5 Inch 1:32 Scale Die Cast Metal Model Toy Black

NOTE, this is a copy of a review I posted on a different Beetle I purchased at the same time. Same information and review apply to this toy car as well.Became an instant fan of the Dresden Files and shopped around for an actual licensed version of the Blue Beetle. Short of buying someone else's version from one of those maker auction site(s), I decided to make my own knockoff of the infamous car. For the price Amazon was selling these Beetles, I decide to buy two of them , in case I messed up the first one.For anyone interested in making their own, car was really easy to take apart and put back together. I did have to use an xacto knife of cut some of the plastic bits from the frame, mainly the lights, but they went on back pretty easily with a dab of Elmer's glue. Word of caution, the lights are tiny pieces, and the fo-chrome bits are not attached to the lights bits themselves. I dropped the storage container that contained all the loose bit and lost one of the rear chrome light covers in the plush carpet in my office. It's that small, that it simply disappeared.Car modificat1ion aside, this Volkswagen toy car is built pretty solid. I was surprised with the amount of metal part on this car when I got it. I was expecting a lot more plastic in the car for the price I paid for it.Would not have any issues recommending this car to other who want to make their own version of Dresden's Blue Beetle. Not too sure if I'll be making the Munster Hearse just yet.

Exellent for the price! Its probably not very good to use as toy but definitely exellent as display. The model looks good without deformities. Bought it to put on my desk to remember grandma by, she owned a real one just like it. Brings back so many memories just looking at it, I LOVE IT!

I have a Jetta and put it on my dashboard like it's my car 🚗 farther.The only think tha windshield and door sites glass melted. But who cares

Good size, and is a good replication of the vintage bug.

Reminds me of the days of my youth!

It's black and the doors open. Not sure why my 11 year old daughter wanted this, but it seems high quality. She just has it sitting on her desk and it hasn't just fallen apart suddenly, so that's good. Also no thug mice or roaches have tried to steal it, so i must commend its security.

I didn't expect it to be this size. I was expecting it smaller. I love it, and I am sure my son will also.

Cute car breaks fairly easy not good for toddlers. Older kids or collector probably fine.
